Following the events of the battle. The NeRd Olympics were ordered to continue, but the participants all refused to continue under their current conditions. This led to the Olympics being canceled for the year.
In most sense, some students would be devastated, but they were not. The Olympics were canceled for the year so for the rest of the year there would be no need for stress and over studying.
The seatings weren't really checked since the educators wanted to get the students away from the NeRd Olympics as quick as possible, so Cameron and his group all registered their seats at the back.
Some of the students started moving closer to the back since they knew the group already and they were fun together, including that Maddie and her group were also at the back, but were seated in the seats in front of the group of boys. This was a dream combination of fun.
"OOOle! Ole! Ole! Ole!" Cameron sang loudly.
"Ole!" Trent, Addie, Style and Jed added on, the whole group pretty much. "Ole!" The group of boys added again.
"We- we made it out alive.." Cameron sang in the melody and rhythm of the song they were singing.
"Alive!" The boys sung, then turned to Aiden who was reluctant to participate.
Cameron nudged the emo boy and he finally broke. "Alive!"
"We- we thought that we would die, but were alive.."
"Alive!"
"Alive!" Cameron joined the boys this time.
The boys all broke out into laughter, following them Maddie and her group started laughing as well, thus this coursed an entire domino effect where everyone up to the teacher laughed.
"But really though guys we could have actually died there." Cameron changed the tone.
"But we didn't. Thanks to my new best friend, alien guy!"
"You became friends with the alien guy?" Cameron raised a question.
"Yeah look." Caleb flashed his signed shirt. "Were besties! And the word fuck is cool now."
"You took videos of the guy and his alien morphing right?" A dark haired girl with a pencil by her ear asked.
"Of course I did Diane. We all did right?"
Everyone shaked their heads. "Look Caleb... Were not into this weird cross breading stuff, but it's okay if you are were not gonna judge you on that." Maddie commented, receiving laughter.
"What?! I'm just saying those aliens were super cool!"
"It's okay Caleb." Maddie gently nodded her head. "We understand."
"I wish I was there it would have been so cool to see them." Cameron awkwardly laughed while scratching the back of his head.
Everyone nodded and left the answer while Maddie on the other hand fake smiled and pretended to turn away when she was actually side eyeing the Omnitrix holder.
"They weren't that great." Ruby spoke out. "I mean the first guy seemed way too cocky and the second one was barely paying attention to the fight... That didn't seem heroic."
"...oh..." Cameron stared at Ruby lightly concerned about her depiction of the aliens.
Maddie who was still staring noticed Cameron's concern stare. Ruby turned to Cameron's direction and the two locked eyes for a split second before quickly turning away. Maddie had the same look of concern as Cameron, but it was clear her concern was based on something different.
Cameron stared at the watch for a couple of seconds before moving his head up brushing pasts Maddie stare, he quickly turned back and she wasn't looking at him anymore.
"Huh? That was weird."
➜ [Middleton [Abandoned Factory]
Cameron wearing a light grey hooded jacket knocked on the door and not even a second later it opened. He yawned since it was so late at night before walking inside. The factory had its light on which was usual since it was night. Cameron peaked outside the door before closing it, he turned around and evaded a book that was thrown his way.
"What the?!"
"No! You what the! Why are you killing me! Why are you doing this to me!"
Cameron stared at the doc with disgust at what he said. "W-what?"
"Why do you hate me so much. I specifically told you not to tell anyone about this, but you couldn't help it you just had to be selfish. You went out there making the world know you, now the government knows!"
Cameron placed his hands in the pocket of his jacket and sighed as walked forward "He doesn't know about the Omnitrix it's really no big deal." He assured taking a seat.
"No big deal?! It is a massive deal! You promised me! You lied to me! Now when I have the watch, I have to deal with the press they will come after me wondering how I morph. These are problems for me, you see what your fooling has done!"
"About that." Cameron pulled one hand out to scratch his neck, "I actually feel more comfortable with the watch now, I don't think it's necessary for you to take it off."
"What?"
"I said, I'm okay with the watch." Cameron placed the hand back in his pocket and shrugged. "I don't know I guess now I'm just feeling like it's my responsibility to bare it's responsibilities. Weird I know."
"What? What! What?! No! You are lying to me again! Why are you doing this! You promised to give it to me, you gave me your word and now you are turning your back on me, because you are famous! You are toxic!"
"You okay doc? This is unlike you."
"You don't know me! You're not my friend! You're a lair, a dirty gorgbalik ameuft liar!"
Cameron pulled his hands out of his pockets. "Okay. Your being kinda weird I think I should-"
The doctor jumped over his desk and stretched for the watch, Cameron quickly pushed the chair he was on over, rolling off then stopping himself on one knee with his Omnitrix arm raised to his chest. "Doc... Relax man..."
"You liar! Give me the watch!"
Cameron pulled his sleeve back and squeezed the two buttons of the watch, before the dial could pop up the doctor tackled him back. The doc gripped the dark skin boys wrist.
"Doc d-"
A small yellow energy sparked around the Omnitrix and blew the doctor over the research table. Cameron picked himself up and slowly approached the table to see if the doctor was okay. The doc was indeed okay, he sprung up holding his face which was flickering for some unknown reason.
"Give me that watch!" He ordered, in a dark and scary voice.
Cameron long pressed the side buttons whilst taking a step back for room. The iconic beep sounded and the boy turned down to the watch so he could choose an alien, but paused when he noticed the diamond and everything else that was green was now yellow.
"What the hell?"
"Agh!" The doctor groaned as a weird face plate masked blinked on his face.
The doctor smacked his arm that was blinking between blue muscled furry and normal human—into a bunch of chemicals that all fell in the same area combining with each other. Cameron ran to the door, only seeing a glimpse of the blue hairy alien thing that use to be the doctor.
The boy slammed the door closed, seconds after he did so a huge explosion occurred blowing him all the way into the forest. After being blown back, Cameron immediately got back up and started running. The nuclear gas surrounding the factory added to the explosion, and even though Cameron was far from the factory the explosion was still managing to close the gap.
"Come on! Come on!" The boy exclaimed, pressing the dial buttons of the watch. "Go green! COME ON! GO GREEN! GO GREEN! GO GREEN!"
Clearly seeing the watch was inactive, Cameron had no choice, but to rely on his own speed, the boy sucked in a strong gush of air and pumped his chest forward. This surprisingly worked he was somewhat out running the explosion, but only for a couple of seconds before it pushed on closer to him and that's when the watch beeped on.
Cameron still keeping pace while running squeezed the two buttons and without looking down slammed the popped up silhouette down into place. The explosion covered most of the forest and was now only moments away from engulfing the Omnitrix holder who while runnings eyes turned green as his skin melted down and turned white and sprung up when the explosion touched his boneless arm he spun up cutting in through the melted skin resulting in him to rotate in a white cloak and shoot out in a burst of fire.
"WHOOOAAA! I LOVE BURN OUT!!"
