While a storm raged, a meeting between enormous powers was taking place – the encounter of two queens.
In the center of the world, there was a castle floating on the surface of a massive lake, distinct from the storm-dominated rest of the world, with its serene waters not showing a single ripple.
"Finally, we meet. Hmm, how should I address you? White Queen? Or perhaps Queen of the Snow Crown?" said the woman with long blue and white hair, each strand split between the two colors. She had silver eyes and wore a black tube top and ivory-colored pants, considered one of the most beautiful both in and out of the game.
"North Water, we've been friends for a long time, so as long as you don't use my real name, you can call me whatever you prefer," said the Queen of the Snow Crown with long, dark red hair, almost black, visible from afar with pink eyes and a thin white face. She wore a long-sleeved white denim dress.
"Why did you call me? Are you thinking of starting another war?" asked the Queen of the Snow Crown.
"Hahaha, not really. You've just been acting strangely lately," North Water said, waving her hand.
"Oh, well, what kind of nonsense are you going to talk about?" asked the Queen of the Snow Crown.
North Water smiled, picking up a glass of wine. "None, it's just my curiosity, you know? I remember you only cared about your world, but at this very moment, you've dominated more than 12 worlds. What happened? Have you decided to play seriously again?"
The Queen of the Snow Crown sighed with a disheartened expression. "I knew it would be something stupid, but I know you won't stop until you get an answer. I'm doing this for a certain reason because the current dynamics of Altair will change as soon as he enters the safe zone."
North Water emptied her wine glass and placed it on the table, her curiosity only increasing. "Him? So, that boy you met a few months ago really caught your attention?"
North Water placed her left hand on the table, using it for support as she stood over the table in front of the Queen of the Snow Crown, getting close and asking, "What's his name? He must be someone very good to catch your attention. Is he a professional player, by any chance?"
"First of all, that's extremely disrespectful, and he used to be a professional player," the Queen of the Snow Crown said, flicking North Water's forehead.
"Hmm, so you like the retirees?" North Water asked with a mischievous smile.
The Queen of the Snow Crown leaned back as if anticipating something to happen and said, "Shut up and let me talk, because I think you should remember this name, Dmitry Schariac."
North Water jumped in the air, landing forward and hitting the ground just behind the Queen of the Snow Crown's chair. She quickly stood up, astonished, and asked, "Are you saying the God of Assassins is finally going to play again? Hmm, I know some people who are going to hate that."
The Queen of the Snow Crown swirled her wine glass, turned, and looked directly at North Water, saying, "Exactly, and these will be the people forced to change because of him, and he doesn't even realize it."
"Girl, that's amazing! Why didn't you tell me the guy you met was someone like him? Next time, I'll ask for his social security number when you tell me you've found someone interesting," North Water said, standing with her eyes shining and her hand on her chin. "Ahh, I'm so excited to see what style of play he'll follow now."
"Whatever it is, once he gets through the tutorial, we'll meet in the safe zone, and then I can introduce him to you," the Snow Crown Queen said, eating a cookie.
At that moment, as if struck by lightning, North Water snapped her fingers, pointing both hands at her friend with a malicious smile. "I get it now; it all makes sense. That's why you've conquered so many worlds lately. You want to show off to him, don't you, you sly fox?"
The Snow Crown Queen threw a cookie at North Water's head, saying, "Stop talking nonsense. He's a bit handsome and very good at playing, but that's nothing special."
"Sure, when you get married, don't forget to send me the invitation," North Water said, giving a thumbs-up to her friend.
Ignoring what North Water said, the Snow Crown Queen merely replied, "Okay, okay, think whatever you want."
"Of course, I'll think that. You know the two of you kissing at the end of the Altair tournament would be a beautiful scene," North Water said, acting out a kissing scene with her hands.
The Snow Crown Queen stood up, hearing something strange outside. Walking to the large window in the dining room, she looked out to see only water falling and dark clouds raining continuously with frequent lightning.
"What is it? Are you thinking about the scene I was talking about? Did you find a nice place to relax because rainy settings are beautiful here?" North Water teased.
Ignoring her friend's comment, the Snow Crown Queen began to speak, "So, getting straight to the point, I kind of knew that today's meeting happened because you wanted to use this meeting to convince me to join your team. I thought of that when you called me, so am I right, Evva?"
"Teehee," North Water said, hitting her head with her closed fist.
"You caught me. That's right, because since you finally decided to play and not just manage that shop of yours, I thought you were interested in the tournament, and it seems I was right. But I thought we weren't supposed to use real names, Mirian," Evva responded, picking up a cupcake and starting to eat.
"Oh, sorry, it slipped out because of the moment. Well, there's no one here, so we can afford to relax a bit. And if you wanted just my answer, you could have asked immediately since you know me well. Also, it looks like we have someone else for our team because I know you won't deny his entry," Mirian said, noticing some strange shadows in the clouds with red streaks.
"Miriam, now that you mention it, it really makes sense. I'm not crazy enough to deny someone who caught your attention. But now that you've started playing seriously again, when can we meet next?" Evva asked, walking towards Mirian and jumping to hug her from behind.
"A few weeks, I think, because he told me there are still 16 years left for the birth of the astral key," Mirian replied.
"Pff... that part of the tutorial is so boring," Evva said, looking around as some strange energy seemed to be approaching.
"That's why many skip it and get crushed by us. We suffered through it, even E-rank worlds in the tutorial are tricky to finish perfectly. I remember losing almost all my vassals," Mirian said, a bit saddened.
"Hmmm, yeah, I ended up with only two of my vassals. Everything would be easier if I had all ten. But now I remember there are many strong ones who didn't do the tutorial either," Evva said, moving away from Mirian as she heard someone running towards the room.
"Yes, yes, like Rakhal," Mirian teased Evva.
Evva made a disgusted face. "No, he's just annoying, though now he makes me laugh with his failed attempts to dominate my world. He's doing it again today; he never learns."
A fair-skinned woman in a French maid outfit with short blue hair forcefully opened the large door to the room where the two were, making a loud noise. She ran, holding the hem of her dress, and said, "Rakhal, the leader of the vampires, is attacking us... again, mistress."
'I pity the inhabitants of her world; he attacks them almost every day,' Mirian thought, looking at the maid's disheartened face.
"Elena, call all the inhabitants. Let's go to our daily show, and I hope it's the last," Evva said, patting Elena's head and looking at Mirian, who gave her a teasing smile.
"Haha, today we'll finally dominate this place, won't we, mistress?" said a boy with pale black skin, yellow eyes, and brown hair, wearing an overcoat.
"Be careful with the water. Use your wind shields," said Rakhal, a boy with red hair, blue eyes, and pale skin, wearing a brown trench coat over his white shirt and gray jeans.
"YES, MASTER!!" shouted all the vampires, who seemed to wear the same outfit, differing only in eye and hair color.
"Now that you're playing seriously again, could you help me?" Evva asked, putting on a navy blue coat.
"No, Rakhal is your problem, not mine. Also, I don't want to get wet; it's raining outside," Mirian said, pointing to the window. The lake where the castle was had no rain, only outside it.
"I understand; you want to get wet only with Dmitry, right?" Evva said, finishing dressing.
"What the...?" Mirian opened her mouth in shock, dropping her wine.
"Don't you ever make that kind of joke again, understand?" Miriam said, completely nervous.
"Okay... I'll never again say you want that guy's body in your room, only in your bed," Evva said, winking, as she opened the window in front of her and jumped, flying towards Rakhal and his group of vampire followers.
"Ah, I give up," Mirian said, closing the window Evva had opened.
"Wind shield? Do you really think that will protect you?" Evva asked.
"NOW!!" Rakhal shouted, and all the vampires opened their hands. The wind surrounding their bodies was released, creating the largest wind wave ever seen in that world, clearing the sky and ending the storm.
"Ahahaha, you idiot, how will you attack us now?" one of Rakhal's followers said, pointing mockingly at Evva.
"Evva, join me and give me your key. I need your world to complete my plan," Rakhal said, extending his arm and offering his hand to Evva.
"Tsk, tsk, are you serious about this? Your plan is to end the storm... I feel a bit sorry for you now," Evva said with a disappointed look.
"How dare you talk to us like that?"
"You're going to die today."
"This world is ours."
Two water serpents emerged from nowhere, wrapping around Evva's arms and stopping at her shoulders.
"Hiss~ hiss~"
"So, you think they're idiots too? How about we teach them something?" Evva said, touching the serpent's head.
"Hiss~ hiss~"
"That's what we're going to do."
"Give up, Evva. What will two measly water serpents made from your own body do to us?" Rakhal said arrogantly, looking at Evva as if she were inferior.
"Rakhal, Rakhal, if you only knew how stupid you were this time. First, even with twelve people, you used almost all your mana to end the storm, which will return soon," Evva said, yawning.
"Hiss~ hiss~"
"Right, right. We're spending too much time with them, so to wrap this up, behold your defeat by looking down," Evva said, pointing to the large lake below.
Everyone looked down, distracted, giving the water in the gaseous air time to accumulate rapidly and cross the foreheads, shoulders, knees, and hearts of the vampires.
"Absolute water control," said Evva with an expressionless face, as if what she had done was nothing.
"Argh!"
"Ahhhhhh!"
"Blah!"
Ironically, all the vampires began to expel blood and scream as their bodies regenerated. They flew towards Evva, creating weapons from their own blood.
"Don't think you're going to win, bitch."
"Attack her before she makes her next move."
"Idiots, when will you understand that in my world, you'll never have the chance to defeat me?" Evva said, snapping her fingers. The vampires surrounding her to strike swelled and exploded into large balls of water, falling towards the lake. "Implosion."
"Now, if you don't want to leave your world unprotected for 24 hours, get out of here," Evva said, terrifying all the vampires who flew away, screaming desperately, while Rakhal remained motionless with a somber face.
"This world will still be mine," Rakhal said, avoiding eye contact.
"I await your next move, Rakhal, and if possible, delete your account; I'd love to see that," Evva said, waving with a smirk at Rakhal.
Rakhal looked away, opening the menu and disconnecting.
"Soon, we'll have an interesting meeting," Mirian said, turning a glass of wine as she saw Evva returning.
"A statue?" Anlow said curiously.
"Yes, the next arm is stuck in the form of a statue, and we need to get to it to find out the condition to bring it back to life," Dmitry said, sitting on the grass and looking at the mission screen.
[Find the statue]
[A beautiful woman caused jealousy in a great witch who, despite having the greatest beauty, felt threatened when she saw her beloved smiling so kindly at her. Fearing she would lose him, the witch turned the beautiful woman into a statue that now lies in the middle of a swamp forgotten by the world.]
