Trins stood there with a clear look of displeasure on her face, staring at the entrance of a goblin lair and thinking about how much energy she would need just to reach the second arm. Yawning, she said, "A goblin lair..."
"Who are you?" asked a small goblin emerging from the lair, trembling while holding a small wooden club, looking at the four people in front of the lair.
Dmitry, walking towards the goblin and signaling to the three behind him to be ready for a possible fight, stopped in front of him and said, "Hello, little one. We don't want to hurt anyone. We just need to speak with Katie."
A goblin twice the size of the small one, with red skin and tall enough to be face-to-face with Dmitry's stomach, raised his head and looked directly at him. "Katie? Do you think you have what it takes to meet Lady Katie?"
The ground beneath Anlow cracked, and looking at the red goblin, he displayed an aura of dominance, which the goblin perceived as a dragon. Noticing the thirty-nine goblins hidden inside the lair, Anlow said, "Shut up and let us through."
"No, you can't. Lady Katie doesn't want to see anyone." All thirty-nine goblins came out of the lair, holding everything from clubs to axes, looking at the four while trying to hide their fear of Anlow.
Trins yawned, and Luke, noticing the goblins' loyalty to Lady Katie, gave a smile. Looking at Dmitry, he bit his thumb, causing his blood to form into a silk thread that transformed into a sword. "I respect your loyalty, but there's someone in there we need to talk to," Luke said, brandishing his sword and creating a huge cross-shaped cut on the ground.
Before the goblin could say anything, Trins created hundreds of black needles that formed around the heads of all the goblins. She lifted a black plush wolf she had created and said, "Try not to die."
A deep laugh echoed through the lair, and a huge gray ogre with black stripes all over his body, holding a massive axe in one hand and a bat with several holes in the other, said, "Are you afraid..."
Before the ogre could finish speaking, his body was covered by all the needles Trins had created, killing him and causing him to collapse to the ground, crushing some of the goblins who, despite everything, stood firm in their decision not to let anyone in until they heard Katie's voice, "You killed him..."
From inside the lair, a smoke covered everything around the lair, then returned inside, transporting each of the four to a different area of the lair. When the smoke dissipated, Dmitry saw five gray ogres with black stripes spread across their bodies. Two were empty-handed, another held a massive club, one wielded a huge hammer, and the last one had two metal gauntlets—one emitting flames and the other exhaling liquid nitrogen. The five ogres stood still, taking no steps while smiling as smoke formed in front of Dmitry.
Two hands made of smoke held Dmitry's face, revealing a body made of smoke with enormous hair floating around and wrapping around it. A face began to form on the smoky body, and then it spoke, "If you want to talk to me, get past my dear friends without killing them."
"Is that all?" Dmitry said, walking toward the smoky body with his left arm glowing a yellow hue to attract the ogres' attention. He said, "Come on, you big walking meatballs."
The light shining from his arm blinded the ogres, who regained their sight after a few seconds but couldn't figure out where Dmitry was. They were confused until one holding a hammer heard the sound of something breaking. Looking down, he saw Dmitry with his fingers sunk into the hammer. Dmitry said, "Are you sure she likes you? Because if she did, she shouldn't have given you something that couldn't withstand an attack."
The ogre pulled on his hammer, shattering it. Realizing this, he let out a roar, punching Dmitry with a massive fist five times the size of his head. But even in this rage, he couldn't hit Dmitry. When the dust settled, he saw Dmitry on his arm, holding a piece of the broken hammer. "Are you afraid of hitting your friend?" Dmitry said, throwing the piece of the hammer and hitting the ogre's face, breaking his teeth. He then jumped, landing on the ogre's head, causing him to fall unconscious. "Can't you talk?" Dmitry said.
Seeing their comrade knocked out, the ogres began attacking all at once.
Countless roars were emitted by the ogres. The one with the hammer jumped, trying to hit Dmitry, while the one with the gauntlets shot a wave of fire at him. The unarmed ogres ran towards him. Dmitry's left arm glowed as he blinded them, disappearing from their sight and landing on the hammer ogre. Using the hammer as a shield, he deflected the fire wave to the side, hitting one of the unarmed ogres in the face and knocking them into each other. Now disoriented, the ogres stumbled around, struggling with their impaired vision. Furious, one of the unarmed ogres, with his vision partially recovered, ran towards Dmitry, causing the ogres to collide.
Despite their large bodies, their speed was admirable, but they couldn't avoid colliding after realizing what was about to happen too late. They crashed and fell unconscious.
"Is that enough for us to talk?" I said, looking over my shoulder and seeing the wall dissolve into smoke. A girl wearing a blue yukata with red waves on the arms and legs of the outfit spoke with a smile, "I just wanted to see a good fight. Even if you had lost, I would still give you a chance to talk to me."
