Getting ready for another day

When Noctis opened the door, he saw the three children sleeping quietly. Last time, he woke up Erza and messed with her, this time he picked another target, he chose Kagura. He then approach Kagura and started shaking her gently.

"Kagura, wake up. It's morning already." Noctis said, still shaking Kagura's leg.

"Noooo~ Papa~ 5 more minu...zzzzz..." Noctis' first attempt in waking Kagura up ended in a failure as he tried once more.

"Kagura, wake up. It's morning already..." Noctis said and continued shaking her leg gently.

"Noo~ Papa~ Still Night Night~...zzzzz..." Kagura still with her eyes closed replied before falling back to sleep. Noctis stared warmly at Kagura who was back to sleep. These were the times Noctis could see the chipmunk's childish side. Erza and Kagura were forced to mature at such a young age because of circumstances.

Erza is slowly going back to acting based on her current age because she finally found her mother who thought once abandoned her and her father but her father always told her that her mother left to protect the two of them, but Kagura is still the same as always. Although she acts like a child most of the times, there were times that her mature side would slip out and the duo, Irene and Noctis, have noticed that Kagura has been holding herself.

He is now waiting for the Ghosts to report to him the location of the tower of heaven. Although it was not called tower of heaven yet, because he is sure that it is still in its early stages which will make searching a little harder especially since the Ghost was just a new organization and haven't spread their roots yet.

Taking his mind off of it, Noctis continued shaking Kagura's leg while calling out for her but Kagura still won't budge. Noctis sighed after seeing Kagura's reaction so he decided to use his secret weapon.

"Looks like the weather is so good to play outside? Unfortunately, Kagura is still sleeping and won't be able to play. Looks like she won't be able to pick fruits from the garden either since she is still sleeping soundly." Noctis said with his eyes closed.

Kagura's ears twitched after hearing 'won't be able to play', 'won't be able to pick fruits', and 'sleeping.'

Soon her eyes opened up and saw her father with his eyes closed.

"Papa look! No more NightNight! Mr. Sun is over there Papa! Can I play?!" Kagura said a little excitedly causing the two figures sleeping beside her to be affected.

"So Noisy..." Erza murmured before going back to sleep. Pitou on the other hand just rolled a little.

"Oops." Kagura said while sticking her tongue out.

"Looks like our baby woke up." Noctis said with a smile before opening his eyes and looked at Kagura who is back to lying down pretending to sleep.

"So you want to play this game huh." Noctis said as he approached Kagura and poked Kagura's neck causing her to react and giggle. Noctis continued tickling Kagura and in the process fully woke up Erza and Pitou before being dragged by Noctis and were also tickled.

"Rise and shine my dear chipmunks!" Noctis said before continuing to tickle the trio for 10 more seconds before stopping. The kids were panting because they were laughing out loud and is trying to regain their breaths.

"Looks like no one wet the bed this time." Noctis said which made Erza and Pitou stare at the repeat offender, while the repeat offender is looking around the room like there's an art exhibition in their room.

"Okay girls, you know what to do... clean up, clean up, clean up." Noctis said and the trio rushed to the bathroom to brush their teeth.

Meanwhile Noctis folded the quilt and fixed the bed. When they were on their vacation, Noctis has changed the covers lots of times because Kagura would wet the bed. Dimaria is in disbelief when she woke up and one of her leg felt wet and realized someone wet the bed. Pitou and Erza had experienced it already and were only annoyed by it, but this is Dimaria's first encounter with the sleeping Kagura and she immediately rushed to the bathroom and cleaned herself before rushing out to knock on her master's room to let him know about Kagura's leak.

When she was about to knock on the door, it opened up causing Dimaria to knock on the air. She then told Noctis about the leak and Noctis immediately worked and changed Kagura's pajama and placed a few towels to cover up the wet area before letting Dimaria lay down again. Noctis wouldn't be able to replace the bed cover since Erza, Pitou, and Kagura are still asleep so he told Dimaria to cope with the towels for now.

After the trio finished brushing their teeth, they took small chairs and sat down in front of the table. Kagura then looked at her father tidying up their bed and slowly reached out and removed the cover covering the plates. The smell of honey filled the room and Noctis immediately knew that they had opened it.

Noctis used the honeyblood as the syrup for the pancake and because the plates were covered, the temperature was locked in and the pancakes are still hot.

"Looks like someone's hungry." Noctis smirked and looked at the drooling trio.

He quickly finished fixing the bed and came to the small table and opened the remaining covers. The aroma of the food mesmerized the trio even further that Kagura had wiped some of the drool that was about to fall.

"You can eat now. Don't worry, there are still more downstairs." Noctis said while patting the heads of Pitou and Erza.

"Papa, whash thish? Sho tashty! So shweeeet!" Kagura exclaimed in happiness.

"*chomp* Papa, can I get *chomp* more? *chomp*" Erza said as her eating speed is really fast. As someone with a sweet tooth, she could eat more than she normally could when it comes to sweet things. And when asked why she always overeat when it comes to sweet things, all she would say was:

"All in the name of sweets and more sweets."
