My Second Vision

I open my eyes and come to see myself back in the room, the same pink room of that fae, it hit me. I was in Azova again.

I tried to get out of bed and move my head around and fortunately it did, my head moved in the same direction as I turned it….

I was in control.

The relief I felt knowing I could control myself this time I rushed out of bed without even glancing in the mirror and I ran straight out the door. I didn't confess but I missed this place, I had only seen it once but it showed me what I dreamed of having, a place where Fae and humans lived together. If only humans hadn't tried killing us I would have never had this hatred in my heart against them but for some reason seeing them live peacefully among Fae my heart took a turn and felt a sense of liking for humans.

Upon opening the door, I was greeted by a human who stood there, vigorously waving his hands and addressing me with the words, "Hey Sima." I stood there, captivated by his presence and confident demeanor, while he quickly scanned my appearance from head to toe before stepping inside. With a hint of disapproval, he questioned, "Are you planning to go out dressed like that?" Perplexed, I furrowed my brow and glanced down at my attire, realizing that the Fae, commonly referred to as Sima by everyone, was still wearing her pajamas.

The overwhelming abundance of pink in her clothing made me feel uneasy. In our world, Zagoroth, where only four colors existed, and pink was nowhere to be seen, but we were still taught of all the colors.

In addition, we were instructed in the art of eliminating humans…

"Come on, I'll choose a dress for my sweetheart," he remarked, encircling me with his hands and leaning in for a kiss. "I'm not interested in that!" I exclaimed, forcefully pushing him away and heading towards Sima's wardrobe. As soon as I unlocked the door, my eyes fell upon a poster.

"Elnorr?" I inquired, possibly speaking too loudly, as the human sitting on my bed, engrossed in some strange device, glanced up and responded, "Yeah, you know Elnorr is heading to Paxton's place today." I turned to face him abruptly and asked, "My Elnorr?" "What do you mean, your Elnorr? You hardly even like her, Sima... Are you alright?" he started to inquire. "Yeah," I replied, attempting to cut him off, as my mind raced with thoughts. "Can you tell me more about Elnorr? I mean what's her last name and what does she look like?" "Baby you do know we are also going to Paxton's house?" he responded, looking at me with a perplexed expression. I might not still be in Sima's body then, I think to myself.

It was crucial for me to confirm if the Elnorr he mentioned was the same person depicted on the poster – the same Elnorr who was expelled

from Zagoroth, the leader of the rebels... my sister. "I assume you're referring to this Elnorr, right?" I inquired, gesturing towards the poster. "Yes, we aren't aware of any other Fae named Elnorr, are we?" he rhetorically responded. "Fine, there's no need to be rude about it. I'm just not in the right mental state at the moment," I replied, running Sima's slender, lengthy fingers through her smooth blond hair, then tugging at the strands and narrowing my eyes as I became lost in contemplation. "Is Elnorr still alive?" I murmured, lost in my thoughts. I don't have a choice. I have to see her, I run towards the door, scaring the human whose name I am still yet to figure out but I have no interest in learning,"where are you going Sima?" his voice fading as I ran down the streets. Now that I know Elnorr is alive, I only have one goal….

Find her, and in order to do that, I have to find

Azova…..

"Do you have any idea where Elnorr is at this moment? It's of utmost importance that I locate her," he gazes at me intently and asks, "Alright, Sima, is it happening?" Confusion overtakes me as I meet his gaze. "What do you mean by 'happening'? What's going on?" I inquire, puzzled by his cryptic statements. "What's my name?" he probes, and I avert my eyes, realizing that I don't even know who he is, let alone his name! "You're not Sima. It's happening. Sima must be in your body," he exclaimed with exaggerated disbelief, "what?" I question, attempting to grasp the situation. "What's your name?" he persists. Reluctantly, I respond, "I'm Talon. I do understand what's going on—the body switch and the fact that Elnorr is alive. But I'm utterly confused."

"I understand, Talon. I'm Quintin. I guess you could say I'm Sima's... well, friend," he says with a hint of slyness, insinuating a deeper connection. "Here's Elnorr's address. You need to find her quickly. The duration of the switch only lasts a few hours, and it lengthens with each subsequent switch. How many times have you been in Sima's body?" "This is my second time," I informed him. "In that case, time is running out. Go find her immediately." He hands me a slip of paper with an address, and without hesitation, I accept it and swiftly depart.

ဟဟဟဟဟဟ

This location is incredibly vast, with an overwhelming number of places. I'm unsure of where to begin, given its immense size. How can I possibly locate her? It's crucial that I find her. My mind raced incessantly as I hurriedly moved from one spot to another, neglecting to take a moment and formulate a proper plan. The realization that she was alive had completely disrupted my thoughts, throwing my mental state into disarray.

The entire notion of Sima being in my body perplexed me, leading to yet another question: Why had she specifically ended up in my body and why'd I end up in hers? Furthermore, I found myself questioning her identity since I had no prior knowledge of who she was nor had I ever met her. After numerous inquiries with both humans and fae, I eventually located the address. Standing before her door, I took a moment to compose myself and inhaled deeply. With a quiet utterance, I reminded myself that behind this entrance lay the long-awaited encounter with my sister, Elnorr. As I proceeded to knock on the door, an unexpected gust of wind brushed against me, causing my ears to perk up. Usually, as fae, we have the ability to control the direction of our ears to enhance our hearing in specific locations. However, this time was different. I sensed a compelling and forceful tug, and suddenly, darkness took over.
