"Let's get on with it." Alex said, making the decision for the team to move into the cave.
"I hope this isn't just another dead end." Victor thought out loud. He really didn't want to waste everyone's time.
However, Holden was hoping even more that it wasn't a dead end. He didn't know if he could handle spending more one-on-one time with Devotion, after their last conversation.
However, everyone's worries were quickly stifled. The group had walked dozens of meters, much, much further than any other tunnel, and there was still not sign of the end. This had to be the right cave that they had been looking for.
"Now that we're getting closer, does anyone want to take a guess of what dug these tunnels, and why they are so confusing?" Devotion asked the group. He hoped they had some theories, because Devotion himself was stumped.
