"Sorry for the snow." The Mountain King said.
"You did this?" Devotion asked in amazement. "How the hell did you cover the entire mountain in snow so quickly?"
"A magician never reveals his secrets, Devotion. Don't ask questions you know he can't answer." Ysmir suddenly warned in Devotion's ear. That phrase had just appeared in Ysmir's head, so it felt it was important to tell Devotion.
"That's a fun phrase." Devotion responded, nodding.
"The fox is right." The Mountain King said. How had he heard Ysmir? Devotion didn't ask. "But, if you must know, I summoned the snow myself as punishment for your earlier foolishness."
"Fair enough. Apologies, Mountain King. I was being foolish." Devotion said, feigning a bow. However, before he could finish, the Mountain King stopped him.
"Don't bow to me! Or to anyone! Nobody deserves it!" The Mountain King shouted, panic in his voice. It seemed that he didn't like being referred to as a senior.
