"Thank you for meeting with me today." Lu Chen said with a calm expression as he stared at Song Yanmei. The two of them were now at a cafe.

"No need." Song Yanmei answered.

"..." Lu Chen didn't know what to say.

"But it was pretty rude of you to leave me alone with your secretary. Do you see me as lower than you?" Song Yanmei continued to have a smile on her face as she stared at Lu Chen. Lu Chen gulped. She was taking shots at him.

Lu Chen coughed, "I never meant it like that. I'm sorry about that. I didn't realize the date of our meeting matched my other schedule." Lu Chen realized it too late. He called Song Yanmei to have a meeting to discuss using a stadium again. He thought it was alright. Song Yanmei was an upright and kind person.

But Lu Chen thought wrong.

"Did you really forget? Or were you having fun with Bai Xiaoqing?" Song Yanmei questioned with an evil smirk. Lu Chen's hand twitched. She was totally pissed.

Lu Chen sighed, "This is not my fault. I had to do it because of the old man." This was all because of Elder Bai! He was the one who threw him into this mess. He expected Lu Aotian or Lu Hao to do it. And he was definitely laughing about it behind my back! He could imagine Bai Geming laughing at him.

Lu Chen had no words to describe it. She isn't wrong. But she isn't right either. Lu Chen did have a lot of girls around him. But,

Seeing this, Song Yanmei tilted her head, "So are we not dating?"

"..." Lu Chen wanted to say no. But he couldn't get it out of his mouth. Her words were correct.
