Riordan was rather taken aback upon hearing that, but he wasn’t as astonished as Darby obviously was. The surprise was written clearly all over Darby’s face. His scent also spoke volumes
“W-when?” Darby stammered slightly.
Riordan saw in the rearview mirror how Dillon’s cheeks were reddening. He didn’t have to be a mind reader to know what Dillon was thinking about.
“What if we do that when we reach home later?”
Riordan snickered softly. His guess was accurate after all.
“Why?”
Riordan arched his left eyebrow at Darby. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Darby ignored Riordan and focused on Dillon. “I need you to be one hundred percent sure about this. I don’t want you to do it just because of what almost occurred to me earlier.”
“I’m absolutely certain about it,” Dillon answered a second or two later.
“You don’t want to wait until after our date tomorrow?” Darby inquired, and there was a hint of teasing tone in his voice.
