If Bats Are Scary, What About The Giant Ones?
The sound of something moving too fast for the eyes to see echoed inside the dark cavern. Deirera and her assessors were currently on the defensive against a flock of Vulcan bats. This species of bats of monstrous proportion are commonly found within large underground caverns. Their ability to accurately predict and pinpoint targets in pitch dark makes them extremely dangerous when encountered within the confines of the narrow underground cave.
Deirera, being a cold-blooded Amazonian, would normally be at the forefront of the attack. However, having to take care of her injured teammates, she can't help but put up a defensive stance against the oncoming predators.
