Prologue - Part 7

When Hiko finished talking to Shiina who was currently cooking dinner, Hiko started to approach Touma who look so busy thinking about something.

"You seem to be busy thinking about something, Touma," Hiko said while sitting next to Touma. "What are you thinking, that made your facial expression looks so scary like that?"

Touma was neither surprised nor shock when Hiko suddenly sat next to him and asked him about something, because no matter how hard he thought he would never let himself to be caught off guard.

The only thing that currently confuses him is, he doesn't know what kind of answer he should give to his grandfather Hiko who is currently sitting next to him.

"I was just thinking what kind of training should I do so mom wouldn't worry about me and let me train my body," Touma said saying whatever that pop out into his head. "I'm confused because all of idea that appear in my head is a way of training that mother would definitely forbid."

"No wonder your facial expression is like that," Hiko said with a smile when he saw his grandson who feel afraid to his dsughter Shiina. "In that case, leave it to me because I have the right way of training for you to be allowed to train by Shiina, and instead of us talking about the right way of training for you there are other more important things that I really want to talk to you about Touma."

"What kind of important thing thing that you want to talk about jii-chan?" Asked Touma who was feeling a bit confused by Hiko's serious expression.

"Regarding the mysterious power in your right hand that made the ki flow in my body a bit chaotic," Answered Hiko. "Why did the mysterious power that had disappeared for decades 'Imagine Breaker' appear in my grandson's right hand."

Touma couldn't believe what just came out of his grandfather's mouth. How could his grandfather know about Imagine Breaker? But Touma immediately realized, if Hiko's grandfather knew about Aleister Crowley, it wouldn't be strange if Hiko knew about Imagine Breaker. But Touma decided to pretend not to know about Imagine Breaker, because it would look strange and suspicious to Hiko if Touma knew about Imagine Breaker.

"I-Imagine Breaker? What do you mean by that Jii-chan? Are Imagine Breaker is the name of unknown power that reside in my right hand? The strange power who is holding back something that seems to want to escape through my right arm," Touma said trying to react as innocently as possible like a normal kid. "But unfortunately that power can't fully withstand whatever is trying to get out of my right hand, because there is a negative energy from this right hand that makes me always get a bad luck, luckily I learned to control this strange power in my right hand, that's why I can close the leak and I can avoid the bad luck."

"You can sense Imagine Breaker's existence and learn to control it, plus you can also tell that Imagine Breaker is being used to seal something within your body?" Hiko said who was taken aback by Touma's explanation. "In addition to being talented in martial arts you also have an extraordinary talent in controlling a supernatural powers, my grandson is indeed great!"

"Instead of praising me can you explain what Imagine Breaker is?" Asked Touma while still pretending to be innocent. "I know absolutely nothing about this strange power in my right hand."

"Hmm, to put it simply, Imagine Breaker is a unique power that can destroy almost all kinds of supernatural phenomena," Hiko replied with a serious face.

"A unique power that can be used to destroy almost any kind of supernatural phenomenon?" Touma said while pretending to be surprised. "No wonder this power can sealed the negative energy from something mysterious inside my body who is trying to escape trough my right hand."

"I don't know what's inside your body Touma," said Hiko who was worried for his grandson when he found out there was something dangerous inside his body to the point that Imagine Breaker appeared in his grandson's right hand to seal the escape route of something that was hiding inside his grandson's body. "But if Imagine Breaker appears in your right hand to seal that thing, it means that the 'something' inside your body is very dangerous to this world. May I examine your right hand so I can find out what kind of creature that sealed inside your body?"

Touma nodded his head, then allowed his grandfather to examine his right hand. Hiko then closed his eyes and started to flow his ki into Touma's right hand so that he could analyze what was actually sealed by the Imagine Breaker.

Because Ki is the life force of humans Imagine Breaker cannot completely neutralize Ki even though Ki has supernatural properties. Imagine Breaker can't neutralize supernatural powers that already exist naturally such as human life force or human spirit so Ki can't be completely neutralized by Imagine Breaker.

When Hiko's Ki reached a point inside Touma's body, Hiko could see eight very scary dragon silhouettes plus something he couldn't see but he could feel the aura of something that invisible. The eight dragon and the invisible thing that was sealed inside Touma's body was so terrifying even for someone as strong as him... Eight was the only a number of dragon that Hiko could see inside Touma body, but Hiko knew the number of dragons on Touma's body could be more than that although Hiko didn't know how many because he wasn't strong enough to detect them.

"How about it, what did you find inside my body?" sked Touma who was amazed by another way of using Ki that he had never seen before.

"Eight dragons or more with enough power to destroy the world, plus something terrifying but invisible," Hiko replied with cold sweat running down his face. "I don't intend to see what's inside your body for a long time, because that would be very dangerous for me."

"Eeeeeeeeh there's such a scary creature inside my body!" Touma said trying to make himself look as panicked as possible. "D-Does that mean I will die because of the existence of those creatures in my body!"

"Imagine Breaker prevents that, you don't need to worry Touma," Hiko said trying to calm his grandson who looked panicked. "Plus, since you know how to control Imagine Breaker, there's a possibility that you can use Imagine Breaker to control those the eight dragon and the mysterious entities within your body."

"Using Imagine Breaker to control the monster sealed in my body? Is that even possible? Because right now I can only use Imagine Breaker to seal the leak of negative energy in my right hand and also wrap my whole body with the anti-supernatural energy of Imagine Breaker," Touma said explaining what he could do using Imagine Breaker to Hiko.

"Of course you can control the dragon and the invisible thing in your body if you have more control of the Imagine Breaker" Hiko said. "And I will also help you train so you can control the dragon and the invisible thing."

'In the anime or light novel Toaru in my past life it was never explained why Imagine Breaker could be reside inside my right arm,' Touma said. 'Is there an entity stronger than all the dragons or the invisible thing in my body that deliberately placed Imagine Breaker on this right arm? Is it a magic god or a 'God'?'
