Ashley and Blair

"This is Ashley and her lovely friend Blair." Blake said, not waiting for the girls to introduce themselves.

"Well Ashley, meet Josh or Jay for short," stated Blake.

"Hi," Josh said, tipping his head a little to the girls, this gesture made Blair blush a great deal.

"Hi," the girls replied back.

"Jay, I'm taking Ashley to my room just for a little while," said Blake, making a lame excuse to leave him with Blair.

"Sure no problem," Josh murmured.

Taking a look at his wrist watch, it was 7:55, the party was already warming up and the music was blaring loud from the speakers, "uh, do you want to…." Josh and Blair spoke on cue.

"No you go first," she insisted.

"Do you want to go away from here, to take a walk?" he asked.

"I'll…lov."

"Never mind I'm sure you'll like to stay here, I can go alone," he said, interrupting what Blair wanted to say.

"You know for someone this handsome you sure jump into conclusions and yes I'll love to take a walk with you," she hurriedly replied, hooking her arm with Josh's own…

Halfway across the lawn he felt slightly uncomfortable, he dragged his arm out of hers and smiled slightly, but it didn't feel sincere.

"So, uh, what year are you in?" Josh asked, trying to fill up the silence.

"This is my second year and I'm majoring in media and communication."

"Oh that's nice, are you and Ashley roommates?"

"No, but I've known Ash since highschool, that's why I have a bit of connection with her and her frat group, not one for joining fraterntities," Blair laughed at her own pun.

Josh stared at her seriously, trying to figure out the cause of her laughter, he didn't get the pun.

"Oh, I'm sorry, that was dry," Blair said, calming down a little from her little laughing session when she noticed Josh wasn't laughing.

"I was laughing because of the pun I just made, fraternity and tits, equals fraternitities," she explained with invincible quote bubbles in the air.

Josh stopped walking, still trying to put the words together.

"Nevermind, it's not everyone that gets my pun," Blair stated, the environment was quiet again.....

Josh took another look at his wrist watch, the time was 8:01, one more minute to 8:03 he thought.

"I'm surprised you're time conscious or maybe you're the mysterious keeper of time who only manifests in a human body during the month of halloween," Blair jokingly stated.

Josh chuckled a little, "If only thoughts were real. I'm only making sure we don't stay out late."

"Can you wait a sec, I gotta go pee," Blair said as she ran towards one of the buildings they had just passed. That's when Alan finally noticed the route they took was a little bit lonely and they walked a really far distance in a short amount of time.
