~Chapter 35~

There's a similarity between boiling milk and keeping secrets. Both are safe as long as you remain cautious and watch over them, but as soon as you pay attention somewhere else or lower down your guard, both your secrets and the boiling milk are ready to spill out.

"Seems like Mr. Fiancé of Miss Inlon is gonna stay longer this time~"

"Oh young couple~!" two older woman giggled as they spotted a black Honda sitting at the porch for the past two days. That black Honda belongs to the fiancé of Miss Inlon who visits his lover in this town sometimes but he never stays more than a day if it is not a consecutive holiday. It is odd to see that black Honda still in the porch during working days.

Things however are a tad bit different inside the house contrary to the older women's beliefs. The woman with red lips moved away from the curtains as soon as she saw the two older giggling women disappearing from her line of sight. She looked back at the dining table where the dark haired man hunched over the table since last night, his eyes wide staring for eternity along with his blood that had trickled down all over the table and on the carpet after the back of his head was bashed by a baseball bat.

The woman in red's secret are ready to be spilled out.

Today the Roschend High's atmosphere is a mixture of nervousness, relief and joy at the same time. Why? Because today is the last day of the final year examination of the senior class! Just as the bell rung it signaled the end of High school, the end of being a teenager, the end of many relationships and friendships; at the same time it was also the start of their college life, start of being an adult, start of the teeth grinding rat race to achieve success. As soon as the answer sheets were collected the hallways became full of indistinct chatters of students who either discussed excitedly about the exam, some bemoaned about how the exam didn't go as expected while others remained worried and nervous for their results.

"How was your exam? You didn't get much time revise."Seon Hul asked Luke as the hallways finally started to clear out after twenty minutes of waiting in the sideways. "Eh it was okay." He gestured with his hand.

"Has that man called you again?"

"Which man…? Oh that one?...erm…no….no he didn't anymore." Luke answered surprised that how that man seemed so stubborn in keeping him as his mistress apart from his wife and now there is radio silence from him.

"Good. Glad to knock some sense in to him." Seon Hul collected the last of her items from her locker, clearing them out for the last time. Luke smiled as he nodded with a "Yeah" which was soon replaced with a "wait what!?" as he too dumped everything from his locker inside his back and chased the pink haired girl, poking for more answers.

Just like her friends, Emilia too had cleared up all her stuffs from the locker. They weren't much to begin with because most of the study sessions that she had with Rio was either in library or at her home. Come to think of it, she couldn't see her boyfriend…he is supposed to be out of the classroom because the room in which he was assigned to sit for examination was dismissed first. Emilia, Luke, Rio and Seon Hul were assigned separate classrooms along with their fellow classmates of same and different combination of subjects. Few juniors also sat for a re-exam on the subject that they had failed in their previous year.

Before Luke approached his locker, Emilia caught him to ask about his friend to which he replied that he hadn't seen him. He then looked around a bit, found someone amongst the throng of teenagers and pointed to that person. Upon noticing Emilia approaching towards the pointed person, the guy beside the laughing boy patted to him alerting him about the approach their ex-captain's ex-girlfriend. As soon as the pointed person saw who it was coming up towards him, his smile vanished and he turned his back to pretend to remain busy with his locker.

"Tim, have you seen Rio?"

"Sorry never heard of him." Tim remained busy with his locker. His two buddies shifted on their legs uncomfortably.

"Tim, you were literally with him in the same room five minutes ago and you said that you've never heard of him?" Emilia blinked at the Junior boy.

"No I don't know where the fuck your nerdy ass ugly boyfriend went, okay? He could go and die in a ditch or whatever…" He muttered the last sentence hoping that the former queen bee wouldn't hear him.

But too bad for him.

She had already heard him. Loud and clear amidst the clamor and chaos that is gradually dying down as the number of students reduced from the hallways. She was about to leave but she turned around making Tim's two buddies gulp. Tim looked at his friends' reaction and turned around closing his locker.

"What's your problem, huh? Look I told you I don't know—"

"Mind repeating what you said just now, Tim?" Emilia spoke in a quiet voice.

"Repeat what? Can't you—"

"Tim, Tim, I think you're going too far…."

"Yeah man, she's your senior…."

His two friends clutched at him warningly.

"So what? She's going to leave the school anyway. Who is she to order me around?"

"Yes Tim, I am going to leave this school and so is Daniel. So there's no use of harboring grudge towards the ones who are already leaving." Emilia shook her head. Tim idolizes Danny a lot, so it is understandable why he is behaving like that. In fact his behavior is completely normal. Tim looked at her with burning eyes but he was far from over. He is going settle the score tonight on behalf of his idol.

"Discarding a grudge might be easy but not love." Tim's voice shook. "He, Daniel loved you. He always liked you that's why he was trying to get you back….."

"By bullying people?" Tim stopped. "Honestly Tim, I don't know why do I have to tell you all this but if this'll make the basketball team stop viewing me as a villainess then so be it; I never asked him to bully people in order to get me back. I never asked him to beat up people or push them in the brink of death in order to get me. I never wanted any of this to happen. You only know half baked stories about your idol Tim and fueled with your imagination you blame the wrong person for everything." The rest of the students who were left stopped doing what they were doing and completely focused on the verbal argument in front of them. "We were falling out, Daniel was cheating on me even when we were dating, even when I confronted him never did he apologize. I was growing tired of him but I wasn't ready to leave him. In fact it was he who forced me to leave him after he decided to spike my drink upon the provocation of his friends." Emilia took deep breaths to calm herself down. She didn't wish to stay there anymore. She had taken not more than two steps when Tim spoke up in a defeated voice.

"He had a nose bleeding, so he was allowed to leave the exam room early to visit the nurse."
