Acquaintance before death

What do you think you would do when you died inexplicably? I think you would have been shocked by this, like Leon Burnhart, but let's find out how it happened .....

-Some time ago-

The Burnhart house is small in structure, but very expensive, and why? Yes, because my parents are businessmen and earn enough to afford it, and I am their son, Leon Burnhart and I am 17 years old.

We have a normal, stable and prosperous family. Once a year we went on vacation with the whole family, but this time grief happened.

We, as always, went to rest at the airport and that day there was a heavy downpour, but we did not pay much attention to it as we called a taxi.

Leon, hurry up! We're late for the airport, said Leon's father.

- Yes, Leon, we are just waiting for you ~ - softly, but with a firm note, Leon's mother said.

-Now, almost gathered mom, dad. Wait 5 minutes, I said to my parents and they said okay, but I distinctly heard notes of impatience.

"I've almost packed my things," I thought, and took one last look in the mirror before leaving. I am a high school student, my studies are average. I look more feminine and I am often confused with a girl because of my abnormally long hair *sigh*.

"Maybe it's my curse that I look more like my mother than my father." Again, I'm used to it, but at school I was often teased because of this, but I answered that "it's just such a body." And this is partly true, my body is only 170 cm with bright blue eyes like a blue sky on a clear day, but not today.

I took my suitcase and started down the stairs. The staircase was made of expensive rare wood and because of this it is highly valued, although for me it is a show off, and nothing more.

Going down, I looked at my parents and smiled - I got myself together, I told them. Mom smiled too, and dad just nodded, as usual.

- Send, the taxi is already waiting. Father reminded us before getting dressed and leaving the house.

We dressed quickly and left the house and quickly but carefully walked to the taxi so as not to get wet and slipped. I took my suitcase and put it in the trunk and sat down already imagining how I would relax in the sun.

- We can go. The father said to the driver, smiling slightly. Soon we left our territory and drove through the mountains, as we were suddenly delayed in front of the city due to an accident.

"What if we could be in their place" after this thought, I subconsciously shuddered.

-Some time later-

The downpour intensified, which I no longer like. Mom, I don't like this weather, can we cancel the train for later? - I complained to her, to which she answered me - Honey, we are almost there, only 30 minutes left to go, don't worry~ mum said in a whisper and gently stroked her head.

- Good! I said and smiled brightly and put aside these pessimistic thoughts and thought about the wonderful life that awaits me. "As soon as I finish school and go to college, I will follow in the footsteps of giving birth ..." I thought, but before I could finish my thought, the interior inside the car shook.

I looked out the window and was stunned to see a huge dark avalanche of rock. -Mom, dad, there's an avalanche....! But before I could finish my words, I found myself in a dark space.
