Going Crazy  

"I promise you," I said, not caring that I was looking like a crazy person by talking to creatures that no one else could see. "You have a lot more to lose than I do. And I am not someone easily threatened."

 

Ba'dqeel opened his mouth to say something, but instead of waiting around, I strolled out of the room. Walking through a third phantom that appeared in front of me, my lips twisted in a sneer. I was beginning to hate the feeling of something else being in my body, even if it was only for a brief second.

 

'Follow me,' whispered the phantom as it floated in front of me. 'I'll take you to the basement.'

 

Yeah, because that was exactly what I wanted to do. Going to the basement of an obviously haunted castle was only one step above returning to the pleasure station the guys had found me in.

 

"How important is this place to you?" I sighed, rubbing my forehead as I followed the phantom.
