Stop Killing For Me

I stood in front of a smooth silver wall and just stared forward. Like a spaceship, this section looked to be made from a single sheet of metal with no beginning and no end.

However, the phantom beside me was still pointing to a spot way above my head. A spot that looked no different from any other. Seriously, how did it possibly think that someone would have discovered a secret passageway here, of all places?

"Zuhn'thian," I called out, needed someone tall.

And someone who would listen and not ask questions.

"Can you come here and stand behind me?" I continued, shifting so that I was right in front of the secret latch.

Zuhn'thian, on silent feet, did as I asked, wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Reach up," I said, trying to line up where his visible hand was with the phantom's invisible one. You know, sometimes it really sucked being the only one to be able to see things.
