John

* knock knock*

I groaned as I got up from my living room sofa and went to open the door

"Who is it?"

No answer

I opened it anyway. It was Ruby holding a bottle of wine and her handbag

After what happened today, I never expected Ruby to come and see me let alone come bearing gifts

Is this was temptation looks like? A beautiful girl holding a bottle of wine? If this is temptation then oh lord have mercy for I may not be able to overcome it.

"Hey. I brought this as a peace offering"

I took the wine from her and laughed. This girl is something else

"Thank you"

I moved back for her to come in before I Shut the door

"I'm sorry about what happened today" she said

"Don't be" I answered " You have nothing to be sorry for"

I stood up and brought glasses from the kitchen. I offered her one then filled both glasses before I sat down again.

" I really like you John" she said " I'm sorry if I caused problems for you about your priesthood and all"

"It's fine"

I looked at my calendar on the wall ahead. I had circled the date of my ordination. Ruby noticed it as well.

I have to go for camp on Thursday. It's a full day for meditation for all the seminarians till Sunday

"5 more days to go" she said

I sighed

"Yeah"

Let's make the best of it"

And that was when she took off her shirt
