Ch - 65 Digger Harkness?

Just as Roy mentioned that John Diggle was running down a lead, Oliver received a call from Diggle. Diggle informed him that the boomerang guy they were looking for was at A.R.G.U.S. and that he needed help, as Lyla, Diggle's ex-wife, was also there. He didn't want any harm to come to her, so he urged Oliver to hurry.

After hanging up, Oliver briefed everyone. "Our target is storming A.R.G.U.S., and Lyla, Diggle's ex-wife, is there."

With that, Oliver and Roy rushed to don their suits. Swayam, though on vacation and even on a date with Caitlin, had come prepared. His superhero suit was a two-sided coat that allowed him to transform into Shadow simply by flipping it inside out and putting on a mask. He quickly did so after hearing about the situation at A.R.G.U.S.

While Cisco was busy admiring Oliver and Roy putting on their Arrow and Arsenal suits, Caitlin, though she believed in Swayam's capabilities and respected Oliver and Roy's skills, felt the situation was urgent. She doubted they could reach A.R.G.U.S. in time to save Diggle and Lyla. Once Swayam, Oliver, and Roy had rushed out of the Foundry, Caitlin called Barry and informed him of the situation, urging him to get to A.R.G.U.S. immediately.

Recognizing the seriousness in her voice, Barry assured her, "I'll be there in no time."

Although Roy and Oliver had been injected with Mirakuru, enhancing their strength to peak human levels, they still couldn't match the speed of metahumans. Realizing this, Oliver and Roy opted for their modified bikes, knowing they couldn't reach A.R.G.U.S. on foot as quickly. Meanwhile, Swayam, running ahead of them, had already begun his reconnaissance of A.R.G.U.S. by the time they were halfway there.

After thoroughly scouting the area, Swayam entered the building. He could hear gunshots echoing through the halls as he moved toward the source of the noise. At that moment, Roy and Oliver arrived at the base.

Familiar with almost every building in Starling City, Oliver quickly located Diggle and Lyla. At the same time, Swayam arrived at their position. He noticed a boomerang flying towards a woman near Diggle, who was firing at incoming boomerangs. Though Swayam wasn't entirely sure who she was, he quickly deduced that this was Lyla, Diggle's ex-wife, given her skill in combat and Diggle's protective stance. Without hesitation, Swayam jumped in and deflected the boomerang just before it struck her.

However, Swayam failed to notice a second, hidden boomerang following closely behind the first. Luckily, Roy noticed it. Unaware of Swayam's abilities and thinking the boomerang could be fatal, Roy fired an arrow with precise aim, intercepting the boomerang in mid-air.

Digger Harkness, the man behind the boomerangs, noticed the arrival of the three vigilantes. Realizing that both Arrow and Arsenal were highly skilled in close-quarters combat and recognizing Shadow from Central City, Harkness quickly assessed that the odds were against him. Not wanting to be captured, he used smoke and flash boomerangs to cover his escape.

By the time Barry arrived, he found the entire area shrouded in smoke. Using his superspeed, he began running in circles around the smoke, creating a small tornado that quickly dispersed it.

As the smoke cleared, Barry, Oliver, Roy, and Swayam spread out to search for Harkness around the A.R.G.U.S. perimeter, hoping to capture him before he fled. However, Harkness had already managed to slip away. This left both Swayam and Barry questioning whether Harkness might be a metahuman, given his swift and seemingly impossible escape.

When they couldn't find Harkness, Swayam turned to Oliver and reminded him, "Dr. Wells specifically told us not to get involved in A.R.G.U.S. matters." With that, he and Barry retreated from the scene and headed back to the Foundry.
