Ch - 66 Ka-Boom-Boomerang?

When Oliver, Roy, and Diggle returned to the Foundry, Diggle's ex-wife, Lyla, accompanied them. The first thing they noticed upon arriving was Swayam using the salmon ladder at Caitlin's request. Earlier, Felicity had mentioned how distracting it could be, which piqued Caitlin's curiosity. This led to Swayam, shirtless, serving as eye candy for both Felicity and Caitlin.

Seeing Caitlin and Felicity staring at Swayam's physique, mesmerized, Oliver was about to ask what was going on. But before he could, Barry, who had gone out to grab sushi, returned to the Foundry using his superspeed, not even bothering to cover his face. Barry's entrance managed to snap Caitlin and Felicity out of their trance.

Realizing the awkwardness of the situation, Felicity quickly shifted focus to Lyla and asked, "Are you okay?"

Lyla, understanding the situation, graciously helped them out of their awkwardness by responding, "You can't work for A.R.G.U.S. without making a few enemies." She added apologetically, "I'm sorry for involving all of you in this."

As Lyla spoke, Swayam finished his workout, put on his shirt, and joined the group. Lyla noticed Barry casually sitting there, eating sushi in his Flash suit without his mask. Flabbergasted, she was about to say something when Diggle placed the broken pieces of the boomerang thrown at them by Digger Harkness in front of her, making her ask, "Is that A.R.G.U.S. property?"

Diggle replied matter-of-factly, "It's evidence."

Barry, still focused on his food, looked up and asked, "Anyone want some sushi?"

Caitlin, noticing Barry in his Flash suit, reprimanded him, "Hey. Secret identity?"

Barry, thinking it wasn't a big deal since he assumed Lyla knew, replied, "They're married."

Both Diggle and Lyla quickly corrected him, "We're not married."

Barry, a bit confused, said, "Or together. Whatever. Diggle must have told her about me." He looked at Diggle, who shook his head, prompting Barry to ask, "Don't tell me you didn't?"

Diggle responded, "I keep secrets for a living, man."

Barry, still unconcerned, shrugged, "Ah. My bad."

Lyla, observing Barry's childish demeanor, found it hard to believe this naive man-child was the Flash. She fumbled to ask, "You're... You're..." But Barry, understanding where she was going, quickly introduced himself, "I am the Flash. Anyway, want some sushi?"

Oliver, clearly not amused by Barry's behavior, shifted the focus back to the more pressing issue. "We need a location on the man who's after Lyla. His name is Digger Harkness."

Barry, eager to help, interjected, "Well, the first step is to work the evidence..." But before he could continue, Oliver cut him off, "Barry and Sam, can I speak to both of you for a moment?" He pulled them aside.

Once alone, Oliver spoke, "I appreciate your help back at A.R.G.U.S., and you did an excellent job, but we've got this handled."

Swayam understood Oliver's message, knowing they were on someone else's turf and didn't want to overstep. But Barry, a bit more straightforward, asked, "You don't want to team up again?"

Seeing Swayam understood, Oliver explained more directly to Barry, "Things work differently here. Starling City is meaner."

Barry, still eager to assist, replied, "I seem to remember helping you pretty well last year, and that was before I even had these powers. I've been integrating everything you taught me—casing new environments, not running in blind."

Realizing Barry wasn't backing down, Oliver sighed and conceded, "Okay, but we do this my way."

Barry, excited, asked, "So what's our first move?"

Oliver responded, "We need to reassemble the evidence first. It'll take some time, but it's worth it."

Swayam, placing a hand on Oliver's shoulder, suggested they let Barry use his superspeed to reassemble the broken pieces quickly. Oliver agreed, and Barry swiftly pieced the boomerang back together in no time.

Barry handed the reassembled boomerang to Cisco and Felicity for analysis. As they inspected it, Cisco noticed something. "These are more teched out than the ones we saw before. Made with 3D printed polymer and a circuitry weave."

Roy added, "Some of Harkness's boomerangs exploded."

Cisco, intrigued, replied, "Oh yeah, there are grooves in here that could definitely pack a C4 charge."

Caitlin chimed in, "Maybe if we figure out where Harkness got the supplies, we can track him."

Cisco then identified a key detail. "These weren't made by Harkness," he explained, trying to come up with a name for him. "These weren't made by Ka-Boom-Boomerang."

Roy, unfamiliar with Cisco's habit of naming villains, repeated, "Ka-Boom-Boomerang?"

Cisco explained, "Yeah, you know, because he has exploding boomerangs."

Barry, unimpressed, quipped, "Is that the best you can come up with, Cisco?"

Still defending his choice, Cisco started to reply, "Really? It makes perfect sense..." But Oliver cut him off. "Cisco. If Harkness didn't make them, we need to find out who did."

Diggle added, "And who he made the buy from."

Focusing back on the boomerang, Cisco spotted a design element and said, "Markos. This collapsible-node design? It's a dead giveaway, his signature."

With this lead, Felicity immediately began searching for information. "No known home address or place of employment for Markos. But he was arrested last year by Officer Quentin Lance."

With this information, Oliver and Barry prepared to visit Quentin Lance, the father of Oliver's ex-girlfriend, Laurel Lance, to gather more intel on Klaus Markos.
