Chapter 5

It was then, in the morning when the spacious room, beautiful and soft rugs lay on the marble floor. The competition is filled with two people hugging while looking at the morning sky from the window, both of them are discussing the incident of the former Beta's daughter who admitted to being her mate, and Jeremy, their son did not admit it.

"Can't you say something nice!! Why did you let them impose such a cruel punishment!!" Teresa screamed and hit her husband's body furiously.

The sadness piled up violently, and she received a heavy blow for what she did a few days ago along with the punishment of cutting off both of Shireen's hands. The elders said if this was leniency they should have been sentenced to death, how cruel.

"Sorry..." Antoni couldn't help but apologize.

He couldn't attend the court at the elders' meeting to punish his eldest daughter, it was apparent that everyone was deliberately judging Shireen with severe punishment. In hindsight, the death penalty was better than being crippled by having both hands cut off.

"Teresa calm down..."

"DAMN IT!! HOW CAN I CALM?!!" Teresa screamed while crying, while Antoni hugged his wife with deep regret.

As a former Beta who was respected and looked up to, he couldn't save his daughter from execution today. How helpless he was, because of this state of panic. Teresa and Antoni forget one thing, Grace, the daughter who is now considered Luna can help make all the executions easier.
