GLIMPSE OF HER LIFE [mother]

Starting is everything, but some people are afraid to even begin, they would leave silently rather than give it a try. A girl named Leen in early 19 is trying to understand and explore her new emotions. The story is based on her life and thrills.

Childhood is one of the core factors that affect a child's behavior and her/his future. Being trapped in a golden age... doesn't look the same for everyone. Everyone has their problem, but parents should take care of their children, whatever the matter is. Being able to love and getting loved by others are some people's big dreams and not for everybody... but unfortunately, she is one of them. her childhood was trapped in a golden cage. she was fed with a golden spoon in a golden cage... the world turned upside down for her in the form of her family. she didn't have her family with her when she needed them the most... from a young age itself, she was uprooted from her family and had to go through many things; the tragedy goes on like an endless thread of destiny. She lost her father when she was just two and a half years old. But all through this, her mother was a real support; she had her perspective on her daughter. Her mother was a role model for her. She was a very brave and inspiring soul for her.

MOTHER

Things weren't easy for her mother either. She was born into a poor family along with three other children, and she was the third child of her mother. Their father left them at a young age itself. Her mother had to work from dusk to dawn to meet both ends... but as an umbrella, in the Strome, her mother met her children's stepfather. He was a very likable person who kept his life for his children. Like a good father, he worked to give his children the best clothes, education, and life.

About 50 years from now before, things weren't easy as now, they had to go through many. Even though the island lay like an emerald in a blue shell, the orthodox culture, and customs they followed in society made things harder, especially for women. As the islanders were Muslims, women were kept inside the core of the dark room, where they were only considered an object to give birth to their children and look after the family. The voice of the females of the family kept suppressed, but it was slightly mallow for their family. The neighbors were also kind to each other they used to check on each other and always kept detailing whether they eat or sleep.

As education was just got introduced among the people, women weren't allowed to attend schools instead, they were forced to help their mothers and take care of their brothers, but out of all of this Leen's mother managed to go to school and pursue her higher secondary education; only because she raised her voice and made a tough decision to study which her siblings didn't. Things got more messed up as she planned to pursue her career further. Her whole family stood against her, even her parents. Despite all of this, she left her island at the age of 17 and came to a big city that was full of huge buildings, vehicles, and people with different mentalities. With her strong determination to study and save her family from property and problems, she fought hard and studied and got a very good job on the mainland. As time rolled, she found her perfect match and tied the knot. But life had its dark plan for her; they had two beautiful children, Abeen and Leen; they had Leen after 5 abortions which resulted in a six-year age gap between the siblings. Since their father was a merchant Navy officer, he couldn't be with his girls properly since both had the job the lives of the girls rolled between different hands. Life once again became evil in her life; they got separated... the girls lost their parent's love when they were just 8 and a half and two and a half. Their lack of time and external pressure, the whole situation forced the siblings to get separated, the elder went with her father while the younger one went with her mother. They lost their connection in between as they went in opposite ways, she went to her Island with just two and half-year-old toddler while their dad stayed on the mainland and married another woman which created the whole situation much worse for the elder one. Since they were from different religions and cast and married against all others' opinions, hearing the separation was a relief for the Islanders; but it was the worst decision for their children... which years proved to them. Under the influence and threats, she had to marry another man who already had four boys and a wife. In the end, their family became bigger, and the children got two stepmothers, a stepfather, four step-brothers, and one step-sister (step-sister to Abeen). After the realization of not being safe around her Islanders, she decided to shift her job to her current husband's Island, which resulted in the divorce of her second husband's divorce with his first wife and leaving his four boys burden on her shoulder. With her determination to live for her daughter, she didn't give up and decided to fight till the end. With the haunting memory of her elder child, every night and day, and the pressure from her second husband; who doesn't have a good opinion in-between women, and the stress and pressure from family, her health began to fall... after a few years, she was diagnosed with a dangerous disease diabetes, which took her energy and youth. But she wasn't ready to give up, so she fought even harder for her and her daughter's survival.

But in the end, things were getting even worse; Abeen's stepmother abused her and didn't even give the courtesy that she is just a child, Abeen was brainwashed by her stepmother that her mother threw her out of her life and escaped with the young one which resulted in the hatred towards her sister. She utilized the love and care of a mother and threatened her to give money to see or talk to her child;... the worse thing that could happen to a mother. Every night and day, she used to cry and pleaded to save and get back her daughter from her evil hands, but destiny planned something else. Along with the cruel experiments with her daughter by destiny, she had to suffer violence from her second husband and even her family members. Each time, things got worse and worse. Even she got questioned about her chastity and her loyalty towards her husband from her husband, and all this happened in front of her little daughter Leen, which made her past haunted. They fought every night and day there weren't days that they didn't fight... but on the other hand, she decided to compromise all this for the sake of her daughters. To persist in the middle of hell, she needed a man's help, as he raised the daughter from a young age itself, and was the only girl child for him and the only sister for his four boys.. her childhood just slid smoothly. After all, they tried their best to rise her together. He spent more time with Leen than his boys, which made a special connection and position in her heart, which made her tie a life knot with the burden.
