Chapter 17

' Hmm Sunday. Today I don't have to deal with any bullshit, can enjoy the day and start making my Cookie and cream cheesecake. '

Nova woke up from his sleep, did his regular morning routine while listening to some upbeat music. After finishing he headed to the kitchen to start cooking but,

" Rin when are my pancakes done?! I WANT MY PANCAKES!!"

" Nora in making them so please just wait. "

" But Riiiiinnnnnn... "

" No buts Nora. Sit down and wait. "

' Of course. Noras pancake addiction. '

Nova walked into the kitchen which made Nora and Rin look at him.

" Nova good morning. " Rin said.

" Morning. "

" HEY Nova tell Rin to hurry up with my pancakes!! "

" Sure. Rin take your time to make Noras pancakes. "

" Traitor!! " Nora yelled as she pointed at him.Rin just smiled softly while holding in her giggles.

" Thanks Nova. Anyway here's your pancakes Nora. "

RIn put a stack of pancakes in front of Nora who eyes were shining as she picked up her knife and fork before devouring the entire stack.

" Where does all that food go? " Nova asked while brewing some coffee.

" Into a black hole. "

" I see. So how's training coming along? "Nova asked as he took out the coffee brew and put it into a cup.

' Black, no sugar. Perfection for this morning.

Im beginning to think acting like edgelord has slowly been turning me into one. I should stop for awhile. '

" Pretty good though my aura could use some work. I don't have a lot of aura so.. "

" Then deplete all of it. " Rin looked at him confused even more so when she saw him drink coffee threw his mask. " When you deplete your aura the amount of aura you gain back will increase meaning the amount of aura you have increases. Your control is already good but using aura more will up your control. "

" Hmm okay I'll try that later. Thanks. "

" No problem. "

" Well me and Nora should go. We have training with Pyrrha. "

" Really. Tell Jeanne and Pyrrha I said hi."

" Sure. "

" Bye Nova. " Nora said. The two of them then walked out of the kitchen and headed towards Pyrrha.

' With that over with it now time to experiment. Alright for the cookie ill use chocolate chip. It's a classic that most people still love. Making it is not a problem as I bought all the ingredients.

The best ice cream to use should be plain vanilla. I'll make it myself though. Let's see if can get the crust correct after making a few cookies.

I'll give the extra to Ruby. '

Nova took out all the ingredients and later them on the counter.

First he took 1 cup of bread flour, 3/4 of all purpose flour, 2 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of baking soda before shifting it. Once finished he put that aside.

He took the butter and put 1 cup of it for melting. He melted it till the butter got a nice brown colour and then put it into a measuring cup and added water to get it to one cup.

He then took 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white sugar and put in a bowl. He added the 2 tsp of vanilla extract and 1 tsp of espresso powder.Then added the liquid butter and mixed it all together.

He then added 2 egg yolks and mix it. Once done he mixed in the flour in thirds. He then added the chocolate. Being regular and dark chocolate. He then mixed it all together and put them in the fridge to chill for about an hour.

' Time to play some games. '

* I hour later*

' Cookie batter is done. Then shape them into cookie shape and put them in the oven.' Nova thought while doing the steps.

' Put the oven at 180 degrees Celsius and wait for 12 minutes 14 seconds. '

* 12 minutes 14 seconds later*

' Its done. Time to have a taste. ' Nova took a bite. ' Holy shit that's good.Chewy on the inside while crunchy on the outside. Now let's have the cookie monster have a taste.'

In team RWBY room all of them were taking a day off from yesturday fiasco.

Ruby was drawing weapon designs in a note book while reading a magazine on weapon while wearing plain clothes consisting of a black t shirt, punk pants with white dots and a sleeping mask on her head.

Yang was on her bed playing a video game while wearing a orange tank top and some comfy pants.

Blake was reading her books in peace while wearing a black shirt and shorts.

Weiss was the only one who was studying as she just wore a white shirt and pants.

The atmosphere was comfortable as all them enjoyed what they were doing. Then they heard a knock at the door.

" I'll get it. " Ruby said. She walked up to the door and opened it seeing Nova with a box.

" Get Nova what's up? "

" I made some cookies and I need you to try it. "

" You made cookies!!! Gimme!! Gimme!! Gimme!!"

" Alright here. " Nova said as he handed her the box.

" Cookies. I want one. " Yang said.

" I'll try one." Blake said.

When they took a bite they were immediatly transported to a chocolate lake. They swam around for a few seconds before returning to reality and ate the rest of it. Nova just looked amused by it.

" So how was it? "

" It was delicious." Blake said while taking another.

" It was really good. " Yang exclaimed.

Ruby on the other hand just bulldozed through most of the cookies while having a happy expression on her face.

" That was so good. " Ruby said.Yang grabbed the box away from her.

" Ruby save some for the rest of us. "

" But... "

" OH don't worry I made some for Ruby since I knew she would do this. " Nova said as he gave Ruby a box.

Ruby squealed hugging Nova before taking the box out of his hands. She grabbed some of the cookies and ate them.

" Well since that's over I'm going to go finish my cheesecake. "

" HEY let us have some. "

" Relax I will. I'll invite JNPR as well. "

" Okay. "

" I'll call you when it's finished. "

' Finally finished. Time to call in the cavalry. '

Nova then took out his scroll to call everyone but he then heard ringing from outside the door.Nova had a blank expression.

" You guys can come in now. "

Team RWBY and JNPR came inside with sheepish expressions while Ruby Nora and Yang just looked at the cheesecake.

" Can we eat it? " Ruby asked.

" Yes. " Nova said. He then cut the cheesecake into equal pieces and distributated them.

" Holy shit this is so Good!! " Yang yelled.

" I am in cookie heaven. " Ruby said.

" I admit this is good. " Weiss said.

" I want more. " Nora said as she took more bites. Rin and Blake ate in silence but they had happy smiles on their faces.

" My day got so much better. " Jeanne said.

" Was training that bad? " Nova asked.

" I had to fight a horde of Beowulfs by myself."

" Did you win by yourself? "

" Yes. "

" Then the training is working. Nice job Pyrrha. "

" My first student is getting better and better. "

" Well thanks to your training. "

" She's basically a Spartan so it should be obvious. "

" True. " Jeanne said.

Yang then banged the table hard to gain everyone's attention.

" Alright since we are here let's have some fun.How about I game of cards. "

" What are we playing? " Nova asked

" We will play poker. When someone loses they have to do a dare. "

" I'm in. " Nova said.

" Me to. " Ruby said.

The rest soon joined. The rest of the day was playing poker and recording all the funny shit they had to do. Rin apparently had a bit of hatred towards Nora for some odd reason so she made it that Nora can't eat any pancakes for entire day.

The next day Nora was a mummy dragging herself through the halls.

The best one however was when Nova told Ruby to dress in a suit with her hair slicked back, wore gloves and wears an eyepatch. She looked like a total badass.All of them looked at her in awe. Nova and Yang took pictures though Ruby did go into character a bit to far.

" Bitch you better delete those photos before I come over there and fuck you up."

She basically acted like Najenda from Akame ga Kill.

' Its still beautiful. ' Nova thought.
