This caused them to forfeit their territories in Liang Province, to appease Ma Teng and Han Sui. The decline in their territory caused both Li Jue and Guo Si to have a conflict with each other, as the amount of money and supplies were reduced but needed to be split between the two of them.

This causes the two who live luxurious lifestyles to begin to resent each other and have a major fallout, as they feel that they have lost much of their money and luxurious life.

Li Jue and Guo Si began to fight against each other, causing their forces in Chang'An to be split into two, with one side supporting Li Jue and the other supporting Guo Si.

This caused Chang'An to enter a period of Chaos, as the struggle between Li Jue and Guo Si was so intense that it affected all parts of Chang'An's structure, especially the military and political structure of Chang'An.

Li Jue and Guo Si changed every position to the people who supported them, this caused the already feeble structure to completely collapse due to the battle of wits between Li Jue and Guo Si.

Emperor Xian who is still an 11-year-old boy, can't control the two major military holders, and since he was still young, he is only a puppet that is served by the remaining loyal Han Dynasty courtiers and officials.

The climax of the fallout was when Li Jue took Emperor Xian, hostage, while Guo Si took the Emperor's loyal subject hostage to threaten each other. This makes Yang Feng and Song Guo, Li Jue's subordinate try to assassinate them but fail.

Zhang Ji who was far in Hongnong returned to Chang'An, trying to foster peace between Li Jue and Guo Si after some time they finally made peace, and they decided to allow Emperor Xian and his subjects to return to Luoyang which was under Cao Cao's control.

Yang Feng and Song Guo were called back, and they were appointed as the escort of Emperor Xian, alongside Guo Si, Yang Ding, and Dong Cheng who survived the massacre.

Emperor Xian was personally escorted by Guo Si's battalion, while Yang Feng, Dong Cheng, and Yang Ding with their battalion surrounded Guo Si's battalion.

Yang Feng: "Master Dong Cheng, do you think General Guo Si will change his mind?"

Dong Cheng: "Let's just see, if something ever happens, we can repel Guo Si and hold ourselves in Luoyang. Even though Luoyang now is under Cao Cao's jurisdiction, I heard that Cao Cao doesn't really care about Luoyang."

While having a meal, Guo Si is looking at Emperor Xian who is accompanied by Dong Cheng and some of the Han Courtiers, changes his mind regretting his decision, and chooses to take the Emperor to Mei County.

Guo Si after the meal, under the cover of night, ordered his men to take Emperor Xian to his camp, and they left for Mei County, but Emperor Xian who was still a young boy didn't sleep too deep, and was woken up by the sound outside of his tent.

Fearing that it was a ghost or something, he sneaked out of his tent by lifting up the side of the tent and ran towards Yang Feng and Dong Cheng's tent to seek shelter. When Guo Si knew his men had failed to take Emperor Xian, he ordered Yang Feng and Dong Cheng to relinquish Emperor Xian to him.

Yang Feng and Dong Cheng refuse this order, and together with Yang Ding, they lead their forces to clash against Guo Si's force, so a battle ensues with Emperor Xian as the prize.

Due to his having a smaller number of men, Guo Si was defeated soon after and decided to retreat back to Chang'An, leaving Emperor Xian under the hands and protection of Yang Feng, Dong Cheng, and Yang Ding.

Emperor Xian then with an army that finally was loyal to him, continued their journey toward Luoyang. Guo Si who returned to Chang'An, informed Li Jue about what happened and what a loss for them to lose Emperor Xian, so together they raised their army to pursue Emperor Xian who was on his way to Luoyang.

Emperor Xian and his party who were crossing the Liang State peacefully, before reaching Tong Pass were attached up by the pursuing Li Jue and Guo Si, so soon a battle ensued between them.

This time Li Jue and Guo Si worked together, bringing a considerable amount of their forces, and their capable generals, so Yang Feng, Dong Cheng, and Yang Ding were cornered after each skirmish.

Yang Feng fearing that they will lose and the Emperor be captured by Li Jue and Guo Si, finally calls for the White Wave Bandits, which was his former faction and his group of friends, to aid him in this battle.

Some days passed by, and Yang Feng and Dong Cheng led the defense against the aggressive onslaught being led by Li Jue and Guo Si with a general named Xu Huang holding the defense as the onsite general, soon saw from the horizon a large army numbering about 30,000 to 35,000 men approaching their location.

Li Jue and Guo Si were also informed of this, knowing that they would fight two fronts, Li Jue and Guo Si agreed to lead each of the fronts, but soon they quarreled because both wanted to lead the front where they attacked Emperor Xian.

This Squabble allows the approaching army to attack them by surprise, a man named Han Xian was the commander of this army, with Li Le and Hu Cai as his deputy commanders.

There were also Xiongnu Forces, acting as cavalry for them under the lead of Qubei responded to the call for aid for Emperor Xian. This combined army alongside the forces under Yang Feng, Dong Cheng, and Yang Ding soon managed to defeat Li Jue and Guo Si.

Li Jue and Guo Si retreated with their tail between their legs, with the former running back to Chang'An while the latter retreated toward Mei County, Emperor Xian was touched by the army who came to have him, and under Doing Cheng's 'persuasion pardoned all of them and accepted them as the new Imperial Army.

Luoyang's condition was not as bad as in the original history thanks to Lie Fan, so Emperor Xian and his retainers and officials could live there, being fed and feeling safe having their own aeky after so long.

Emperor Xian and the people who were loyal to them, finally felt that they were free from the cage and prison that was made for them, not knowing that Cao Cao who was far in Xuchang was now his new capital, heard of his arrival.

Cao Cao's advisors, such as Xun Yu and Guo Jia persuaded Cao Cao to receive and 'retrieve' the Emperor from Luoyang to bring him here to Xuchang, as Luoyang was not safe from the attack of Li Jue and Guo Si who still allied with Zhang Ji in Hongnong.
