Chapter 48 Nightmare Of The Past

Blue's POV

Nicholas didn't come back. I waited for him all night until morning today but I didn't see even his shadow. I felt my heart clenching with combined pain and fury. I want to see him and punch his face. I want to know if he still wants me or he's just using me for his own desire. I'm starting to hate him again.

"Blue, have you thought about what I said?"

I looked at Doctor Trevor and pressed my lips together. He's referring me to his father's friend, who is a professor. He wants me to practice my skills and continue my study. I would be able to become a registered nurse if I get proper practice.

He smiled at me. "Come on, Blue. This will benefit you. Don't think about the time you'll have to sacrifice. Think about the future that awaits you after you become a registered nurse."
