Chapter 42 What ifs

Blue's POV

I slowly opened my eyes at the same time memories of what happened last night crossed my mind. The rain has stopped and the sun has shone. Glancing at the bedside table, I realized that I'm late for work. Beside the clock, I saw a picture of a beautiful woman. I swallowed hard as I moved a little and the flesh between my legs ached.

My lips parted as I stared at the window covered with a curtain. This is Nicholas' room. It was painted with black, white and gray. It was a very simple and yet lonely room. This room has been the witness to Nicholas' sleepless nights and nightmares. I know, he's hiding his true self in here and now, he brought me to his room. I don't know if I should consider this a sign that he's letting me into his life.

I looked at the space behind me. Nicholas isn't here. I was about to pull myself up when I heard the doorknob click.
