Felix was busy going through the file in front of him when someone knocked on his door.
After giving his permission to enter, an officer walked in with a file in his hand.
Seeing that more file coming his way, Felix released a small, tired sigh. He groaned inwardly as a protest. He hated sitting behind the desk and dealing with paperwork.
Looking at the pile of files in front of him, he reminisced about his days as a detective in the narcotics department where he got to go on a mission, entering dangerous territories to collect information, or busting a drug warehouse and labs.
Those dangerous situations gave him a rush of adrenalin, which was thrilling for him.
Felix really missed those days where he got to kick some ass and fired his gun.
'Damn. I really missed those days. I want some action.'
