Back in Palmerth Academy

Priya and Hendrix returned to the portal room, and Thiago appeared nearby. However, Hendrix was mainly frozen solid, his spine snapped in two, and cracks riddled his bones. Priya had over a dozen broken bones, and Thiago seemed not to have any injuries.

"Oh, three survivors? What an interesting turn of events." Mr. Regillus stated while looking upon the drastic differences in their conditions.

"Ugh..." Hendrix whimpered before finally crying and letting his emotions out as the agony of his horrific injuries tormented him and his inability to move.

As soon as Hendrix whimpered, Priya got up despite her pain and picked him up, and gently held him before humming softly.

As Mr. Regillus saw the agony caused by this trail, he sighed.

"Congratulations on joining the Class of Madness. You are in this class for life, and the academy takes care of your necessities and Healthcare. Also, you can ask any teacher to tutor you on a subject you wish for free privately. Additionally, you receive a single Amber Coin and a ten credit allowance every year." Mr. Regillus explained.

"Are there any other benefits?" Thiago asked while his eyes widened from seeing the absurdly generous benefits they now received.

"Yes, there are. You each will have a royal guard who will protect you in the open and the shadows. Additionally, you all can participate in any royal event as guests. And you can spectate any academy event for free. Additionally, you will probably receive many invitations to banquets from nobles who admire your class." Mr. Regillus stated.

'What the?! This is absurdly generous!' Hendrix thought while his eyes widened, and he stopped crying.

"Also, You can enter any other class areas, including class X. You have full control of your schedule, heck. You can relax for the rest of your lives in the safety of the villa's you'll each receive." Mr. Regillus smirked.

"I want to live in the same villa as Hendrix." Priya demanded, not wanting Hendrix without her protection.

"Haha! Of course, you can. You are not receiving already built villas, but you get to design your own, and the academy will build it for you." Mr. Regillus explained while smiling.

"Alright, I'm glad. However, I'm curious why the other classes have so few benefits, if any?" Priya questioned.

"The academy's leaders expect no one in this class to go far in life. Yes, you did this amazing feat, but with such horrible potential, you have already reached your limit, or your progress will be plodding. Hence the academy will spoil you until you die of old age. We expect no improvement from you. And due to that we aren't strict with you. No, we'll try our best to accommodate you all." Mr. Regillus stated.

"Why are you so generous to us? To take on our expenses and spoil us silly." Hendrix asked, not understanding how an academy could be so charitable.

"To be honest, there's an important reason for this. Your class is a role model for all the others because anyone who's In this class had to face death in the face and suffer horrific injuries and trauma. Yet you had the willpower, patience, and skills to go through it all at sixteen. We look up to those with those qualities, even if they can't get anywhere because of their talent." Mr. Regillus explained.

"So it's because of our qualities, not our talent." Thiago asked.

"Yes, that's exactly the case, Thiago. So enjoy the rest of your lives in luxury. You earned it. Be merry and happy." Mr. Regillus replied in admiration.

'The grueling trial was worth it.' Hendrix thought while smiling, and tears of joy fell from his eyes.

"Hendrix, you don't have to suffer anymore. You can be happy. I'm happy too." Priya expressed before smiling brightly and kissing his forehead.

"I forgot to tell you. You all have one duty. You need to attend every major academy event. You are our mascots for advocating those values. Additionally, you all will be attending inter-academy events as guests."

'I just hope I'm ignored.' Hendrix thought, not wanting attention to himself.

"Hendrix, I'll answer any questions if anyone hounds you." Priya stated while her smile disappeared, and her expression became emotionless again.

"Thank you, Priya." Hendrix replied, grateful.

"You're welcome." Priya replied.

"Let's bring you all to the medical ward. Since you aren't level one yet, healing potions or spells won't work on you. However, your classes' medical facilities are the best. And a stage 9 healer will tend and bandage your wounds." Mr. Regillus stated while chuckling before writing a few words in the air.

Subsequently, clouds formed underneath the three, and Mr. Regillus left the area. Afterward, the clouds rose and carried the students after Mr. Regillus. As they passed other students, they looked at Mr. Regillus with admiration. However, they looked at the three injured neutrally

After about an hour, Mr. Regillus left the main academy building and walked through a giant meadow filled with docile wildlife.

"Mr. Regillus, why is this meadow here?" Thiago asked.

"This area is for the class of madness. It's off-limits to any students except for your class. Additionally, this meadow is one of the last ecosystems not corrupted by Malador." Mr. Regillus stated while watching the peaceful ecosystem thrive.

"May I know why the other classes don't get such privileges?" Hendrix asked.

"It's because their trials are child's play compared to yours in difficulty. The normal tutorial stage pocket dimension of the dead is not as dangerous." Mr. Regillus explained.

"I see. So where is our class medical ward?" Hendrix questioned.

"It's on the other side of this meadow." Mr. Regillus stated.

After about thirty minutes, the group arrived at the medical ward, and it seemed abandoned, say for a few maids cleaning the area and some nurses.

"We have new members of the Class of Madness. They need medical aid." Mr. Regillus announced.

Almost immediately, a middle-aged woman opened the door to the hospital. She wore a maid uniform and had green hair tied into a ponytail. Additionally, she had green eyes.

"Well, bring inside, Mr. Regillus. I'll treat them immediately." The middle-aged woman stated.

Mr. Regillus nodded and brought the three students into the facility. After they passed the many empty rooms, the group finally reached a room with beds inside.

"I am Trisha, and I'll tend to you all." Trisha stated while motioning to Mr. Regillus to move the three students into the beds.

Mr. Regillus obliged, and the clouds moved above each bed and lowered in altitude. However, once the students lay on the beds, the clouds disappeared.

"I'll take my leave. I need to help class F." Mr. Regillus stated before leaving.

"Alright. Now may I know your names?" Trisha asked.

"I'm Hendrix." Hendrix civilly replied.

"I am Priya. Nice to meet you." Priya stated.

"I am Thiago." Thiago introduced himself.

"Well, hello, you three. I'll need to make you all fall asleep to tend to you." Trisha stated while she wrote some unknown words in the air and the three students fell asleep.

Afterward, Trisha bandaged them and applied ointments while smiling. Subsequently, she sat down and waited for them to wake up.
