Chapter 51: Bubbling Jealousy

*Purpura*

We eventually reached a sushi shop within the water park. The smell of fish, vinegar, and rice wafted into my nose.

Kai sighed. "It's a good thing we had Sekin with us. I could've never pushed Rena's chair through this crowd."

Sekin smiled. "I don't mind."

"Well, thanks," Rena said, blushing slightly.

Sekin chuckled.

"And we probably wouldn't have been able to find this place as easily," Sayuri said as we entered the shop.

"Yeah, there were too many food stands," Ava said, nodding.

"So, what should we get?" Sehun asked, staring at the menu.

"Hmm, how about we get one of those big plates, share, and take home the leftovers?" Sou asked, grinning.

There was a long line behind them.

"Good idea," Ava said, walking over to them.

"Yeah," I agreed, joining the three.

"What kind of flavors do they have?" Rena asked, squinting at the menu. Did she need glasses?

"How about we go with the regular flavors, plus wasabi?" Sayuri suggested.

Ava groaned.

"You're not a fan?" Rena asked.

"She hates wasabi," Sayuri explained.

Sou stuck his tongue out. "I do too. It's so bitter and spicy."

"You have a weak tongue, then," Sekin said, shrugging.

"Hey! There's nothing wrong with liking sweet things."

Sekin snickered. "Of course, you're the one who ate the sweetest pancakes I've ever tasted, after all."

Sehun rolled his eyes.

"Oh, come on, don't be jealous," Sou said, smiling.

"Who's jealous?" Sehun grumbled.

Sou put his arms around him and grinned.

Rena grumbled as she stared at Sekin.

"What? I was just bantering with him, not flirting."

She averted her gaze. "I-I know, it's just that..."

Sekin leaned over and kissed her on the forehead.

Her cheeks flushed.

He snickered.

"Get a room, you two," Sehun said, sighing.

"Hey, this is a water park, not a hotel," Ava said, frowning.

Rena fidgeted. "S-so, how much would the wasabi cost, Sehun?"

"Seems it's free," he said, looking back up at the menu.

"O-oh. Then, how about we get half wasabi and half non-wasabi, so everyone can enjoy it," she said, smiling slightly.

"Just get it on the side," Sou said, sighing.

"I think that's a good idea," Sayuri said, giving him a thumbs up.

Ava and Sehun nodded.

Rena sighed. "Okay, if you say so."

"I want some octopus in mine," Sou told the guy behind the cash register.

"I'll have the salmon," Sehun said, smiling.

"I'll have the same," I said.

"Shrimp for me," Ava said, grinning.

"Tuna for me," Sayuri said.

"Cod, please," Sekin said.

"I-I'll have the eel, please," Rena said.

"And, I'll have the regular," Kai said, smiling.

The guy behind the register punched everything into the computer.

"So, how long until it's ready?" Sehun asked, looking around.

"Should be about ten to fifteen minutes," the guy said.

Sou smiled. "Thanks!"

We waited until we got a big tray with a spectrum of sushi. The colors were vibrant, and the smells were delicious.

"Wow, I can't wait to dig in," Sayuri said, taking the tray as we walked out of the sushi shop.

"Looks yummy," Sou said, licking his lips.

I laughed. "You look like a kid."

He pouted. "So? I'm excited! Is that a crime?"

I shooked my head. "No, not at all."

Ava put an arm on his shoulder. "Come on, let's get something to drink."

"Oh, right, I forgot about drinks!" Sou said.

"I'll get us some drinks," Sekin said. "You can go back to the limo! I'll catch up with you guys later!"

Sou grinned. "Cool! Whatever drink you get, make sure mine is orange flavored!"

He chuckled. "I will."

Sou smiled at his best friend and turned look at us. "Well, let's go! I'm starving!"

We left the water park. It was already getting dark by the time we got out.

Sehun led us to the limo which was parked where we'd left it. It was strange how it didn't even have a driver. Guess that was wealth for you, they always had a lot of money at their disposal to waste on the latest technology.

Was it a good idea to even eat in the limo, though? It would get all dirty, wouldn't it?

Sehun opened the limo door and hopped inside. We followed him and sat on the leather seats.

"Here," Sehun said, handing a box and napkins to everyone.

I took one and put one on my lap.

Sayuri opened up the tray of sushi. She used chopsticks to give us our pieces, although, some of us ended up trading, since we had different flavors.

Kai stared at the piece of tuna sushi and popped it into his mouth. "Hmm, not bad. Could use a bit of soy sauce, though."

Sehun held out a bottle to him. "Here."

He smiled and poured some on his sushi. "Thanks."

While the rest of us ate like no tomorrow, Rena ate slowly, dipping hers into wasabi, and then into soy sauce before putting them in her mouth.

Sekin eventually joined us. He handed Sou an orange frosty drink, and gave a green one to his girlfriend.

I smiled at my grape one. Seemed he got them based on the soda we drank earlier.

"Hmm, these are good," Sou said, grinning.

"Yeah, this is good," Ava agreed.

Sayuri and Rena both nodded.

I smiled after taking a sip of mine. It was refreshing, especially after all that running and sliding.

"Well, I'm full," Sehun said, setting down his napkin.

"Me too," Sayuri said.

Ava nodded.

"Wanna head home?" Sou asked.

Kai lowered his head. "We probably should."

Rena patted his back. Seemed her brother was disappointed our outing had come to an end.

Sehun chuckled. "I thought we could stop by the ice cream shop, and maybe the arcade. But, it's up to you guys."

Sayuri smiled. "If you want, Kai."

He blushed and nodded.

"What about you, Purpura?" Sou asked, glancing at me.

"I've never been to either place before," I admitted, shrugging.

"Arcades are great!" Sou said, grinning.

I stared at him and shrugged. "If you say so"

"Let's go," Sou said.

Sehun smiled. "To the nearest arcade," the prince said, causing the car to begin to move.

I stared at the buildings whizzing by. It was amazing how quickly the world could change when you were in a vehicle.

We went to the arcade first. I managed to rank up a high score on the shooting game, which was fun.

The ice cream shop was a small and quaint little place, with only four tables inside and another five outside. We sat at a table in the corner of the patio.

I stared at my mint chocolate chip ice cream cone. Sayuri had pushed me to try something new, since I had grape earlier at the water park.

"It's really good," Sou said, smiling as he licked his own orange sherbet one.

I gave it a lick. It was refreshing and not too sweet.

"H-hey! What was that?" Sou said.

I raised a brow. "What are you talking about?"

"Y-you licked my cone! Don't do that!"

I stared at him and smirked.

His cheeks turned pink.

"It's a little late for that," I said, chuckling.

"That doesn't mean you should do it again!"

I smiled at him. "Don't tell me it's that indirect kiss thing you're worried about. We kissed for real before, so what's the big deal?"

His face turned pinker. "I-I'm not that childish! I-It's just bad manners, that's all."

I shook my head and snickered.

"Hey, leave Sou alone," Ava said, crossing her arms.

"Yeah, he's right. You should respect his wishes," Sehun said, glaring at me.

"Calm down, I was only messing with him. It's not like I'll do it again."

"I hope not," Sou mumbled, averting his gaze.

I leaned toward his ear. "Well, I could always lick you for real later."

He looked back at me and blushed. "Y-you pervert!" he snapped.

I kept smirking.

Sehun growled and grabbed a hold of his boyfriend. "Leave Sou alone."

I sighed. "Fine, fine. Sorry, I'll stop."

He continued to glare at me.

I glanced at Ava and Sekin, who both frowned at me.

Sou snuggled his boyfriend.

I lowered my head. Maybe I was a bit of a bully.

Kai snickered. "I-it's nice seeing a couple be so protective over each other, isn't it?"

"Y-yeah," Rena said, smiling at Sekin.

Sekin rubbed the back of his head and blushed.

I stood back up and walked back to the limo. I sighed as I glanced out the window at Sou and Sehun.

Sou held his hand up and stared at me. He was asking me what was wrong.

I shook my head and smiled a little. I was just being selfish, that's all. I shouldn't have acted the way I did.

I turned my back to them. Ugh, I hated that he had made me soft. I was a warrior, but now my heart fluttered like that of a lovestruck girl.

Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes. My heart couldn't take much of this. In a way, this feeling was worse than any physical pain I'd experienced, and I'd endured a lot.

Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks all who have voted and reviewed this book thus far ^_^
