Chapter 8

"Anubis this is uhmm.....Draven,Asmodeus,Kalma,Medusa,Osiris,,Azazel,and Moira , of course you already know Daemon they are my sons and daughters,go greet them" Zeus said to Anubis

and she walked over to where the mentioned demons were and greeted them,some responded to her greetings while some others glared at her,to those who responded her she smiled back at and to those who showed her hostility she marked them mentally,they were deemed to be punished but not now,she is far still weak to do a thing to them,she only smiled lightly at them and left to join her master.

"My lord i want to ask you about something" Anubis said as she approached Zeus who was already on his throne,

"huh.....what is the question all about?" Zeus asked back feeling less concerned,after seeing the look on her face,he shook his head helplessly " fine.... go ahead !!" Zeus replied

"Is there any rule against killing each other here?" Anubis asked,

"ha haha haha...."Zeus laughed causing Anubis to frown her face at him," Perhaps are you already planning on the ones you wish to kill??! a little piece of advice for you,don't dare try at attempt because if you,you'll end up getting yourself killed,they are no match for you now! because you are a very lesser demon,you haven't even practiced your powers and you are already planning to kill,i am not merciful enough to give you another life if you loose this one,think about it...you have a purpose don't be too power driven and destroy yourself,learn to be patient and practice your powers first,I'll send you on missions that will help you grow your powers,but for now be calm and learn from them"

Anubis listened attentively to what her master said and after giving it a thought she nodded and thanked him,she excused herself and left the party hall because she was too tired and wanted to rest.

On her way to the Chambers,she suddenly began to feel uneasy,it was like she was been watched by someone,she had only one person in mind "Sloth" she said inwardly and chuckled

"Oh dear sloth,isn't it too tiring for you to keep lurking around and following me secretly? aren't you too old for all that or it seems you have nothing to do anymore" Anubis said in a derisive manner,Sloth upon hearing what Anubis said to her came out of the shadows and was ready to pounce on her when Someone held her hand

"Don't you think you are going to far....sloth!" She heard the person say,it was none other than Azazel the fourth son of Zeus.

"Let me go!" Sloth demanded as she tried to pull her hands from his grip

"And if i don't??! she is only but a kid,why waste your energy and jealousy on her...don't tell me you are that cheap" Azazel said and Anubis could not suppress a snicker, Sloth burned in rage but she couldn't do anything not in the presence of Azazel,she pulled her hand away and disappeared from their mist, it was all she could do at the moment

"Hey halfwit,do you think you will be lucky enough next time?" Azazel turned to face the little demon who was still grinning

"Who are you calling a halfwit, you scumbucket!!! " Anubis cursed back causing Azazel's face to be gloomy.

"I shouldn't have helped you....halfwit " he angrily cursed and left,Anubis pouted at him "and who asked for you help?" She said and walked towards her chambers.
