Chapter 2 “The Tea Party”

Yuzu saw the memories of the antagonist Yuzu, what happened to the past, all of the people she met and who her family was.

To the oldest memory to the newest memory Yuzu saw it all.

But she only describe it with one word, and that is,

"Pitiful... "

Then Yuzu sight went pitch black and she collapsed.

"Where am I..? "

Yuzu mumbled as she tried opening her eyes.

"Lady Yuzu! You're awake! "

Is that Lilly's voice? So I really got into the novel world.

Yuzu sat down as she stared at Lilly.

"Lady Yuzu, what's wrong? Is there something on my face? "

Lilly asked as she touched her face to know if there was something on her face.

Lilly... According to Yuzu's memory she was the only one who stayed beside yuzu, in her birthday, her debut and when she got sick.

Yuzu's body is weak. That's why I collapsed just because I panicked.

Sigh~ what a second life.

"Lilly, you said there was a tea party right? What time does it start? "

"Half an hour from now on my lady"

"I see, can you get me my dress, I need to get ready. "

"But my lady! You just collapsed maybe you should stay home and rest. Or else you might collapsed during the tea party. "

The only one living in the mansion was Lilly and Yuzu.

Yuzu was treated badly by her father, and seeing that, the other people also stayed away from her, they thought that it would bring them no good if they get close to the child who the emperor hated.

Yuzu's mother was a palace dancer, her mother and the emperor got along well but Yuzu's mother died while giving birth to her.

And her father started neglecting her since then, her father didn't even showed up every Yuzu's birthday, he didn't even showed up at last year Yuzu's debut and that was her 14th birthday, this year Yuzu is 15 year old.

And this tea party something big is gonna happen, there's no way I'm just gonna sleep at home and let this happens.

Before they knew it, they had arrive to rosette place where the tea party was held.

Supposedly someone was gonna get the host guest and guide them to the tea party, but no one was waiting at the gate to lead Yuzu and Lilly so they have no choice but to go inside themselves.

"L-lady Yuzu, I've been in this mansion so I know where the tea party was held, why don't I guide us there? "

Lilly suggested with a flustered face thinking that Yuzu might be offended of what was happening.

"No, let's wait here until someone fetches us up. They invited us so they should know the proper etiquette on what to do when the guest arrive."

Yuzu said with a stern face.

They waited at least for 30 minutes until they heard a running horse.

The carriage stopped in front of the gate and Yuzu recognized the carriage mark.

"That's the Marquis family right? "

Yuzu asked while looking at the carriage.

"Yes my lady"

Lilly answered.

Marquis family, a well known family throughout the nobles, it is said that the Marquis family daughter or "Rin" got engaged to the Underson family.

Which made the other young nobles jealous since the son of the Underson family was well known for his looks and manners, and his name is Zekel.

Tsk why would I need to see those two here.
