Jake learned what happened to the people from the *** system as his summons had informed him. As the Republic has been trying anything to stop him from attacking the core since they don't have many new ships being made as their main supporter got attacked by him

The Republic has requested peace talks between them Jake is going to hear them out as he's going to try and get a ceasefire or temporary Alliance against the CIS as Jake knows that Palpatine has to accept the deal because he will lose a lot of his support in the senate if he continues the war between them sadly Palpatine gets something out of this as well the Jedi disliking the Republic for helping a Sith or working with one

A meeting is to be held between Jake and two Republic Senators. the first one is Amidala the senator of Naboo that is only allowed to be a Witness as her planet is under the Empire's name the second senator that is going is Aang as he's a part of the Senate Military Oversight Committee and represents the planet Roona

The meeting is being held on a neutral planet between the Republic and the Empire both sides agreed on bringing two bodyguards to accompany them Padme managed to get Anakin and his Padawan Ahsoka as their bodyguards while Jake brought Obito and Yugito the two sides enter a room that only has a table with 3 chairs two on their side and one on Jakes it's a white coloured room

As the three of them took their seats Jake starts by saying "So I have been getting annoyed at your constant attempts at peace so I have come here to hear you out "

Aang response to that was "We are sorry for the inconvenience that we may have caused you but the Republic is confused about why you only seem like you're only fighting us and leaving the CIS alone "

Jake was wondering what this had anything to do with the topic this meeting is about but decided to humour them by saying "Well the CIS had come to me and asked if I don't attack them they would do the same to us but now they have broken this deal by attacking one of my outer planets between our borders but enough of this let's talk about the topic at hand "

Aang was surprised the emperor Jake answered his question but now he can't ask any more of those questions since Jake went straight to what this is about

" The Republic is asking for peace between our peoples and is willing to have 40 of our systems join your empire for this to go through as you are trying to grow your empire there is no reason why our people have to be at war, " Anng said in a serious matter

Jake was surprised at how far they were willing to go for this to go through but also knows the 40 systems will probably join him even if it didn't end the war but gave a counteroffer and said

"How about this we have a ceasefire for now and see how long our people can be peaceful towards each other and start a temporary truce against the CIS and in return for helping you against them I will get all the territories they started the war with none of the planets they conquered from you "

This was a good deal for the Republic thought Aang as they will get all the territory they lost and get the peace they wanted so he said " I agree with this deal but will need to talk with my fellow Senators this will most likely be accepted as this is a better deal then what we were willing to do " as he left the room leaving Jake with the Jedi and Padme

Jake starts a conversation by saying "Well hello there little Anakin I see you're a Jedi Knight now did they let you Tinker or not as my offer from long ago is still available I also see you have a disciple now how has training someone who was kidnapped by the Jedi been "

Anakin response to that was "You were right about them not allowing me to tinker at all and my Padawan was not kidnapped by the Jedi you're just trying to make me fall to the dark side of the force "

Jake says "Well I see you know I'm a Sith but I don't think you noticed I'm not trying to turn you to the dark side even though I knew you would make a good Sith as you wouldn't let the dark side make you it's slave ohh as I'm talking about this did you know a Sith power is to talk to technology it's almost like a perfect fit for you "

Anakin was a little worried about that bit of information as he can talk to his Droid R2-D2 just fine when everyone else can't so he asked "What do you mean becoming a slave to the dark side "

Jake was happy to answer this question and said "Well there are three types of force users the first is using the light side to guide them through their life known as Jedi the second type allows the dark side to control them for power known as Dark Jedi or wannabe Sith and the last way is someone with strong will power commanding the force to do their bidding known as Sith "

Anakin now kind of knows the different ways, people use the Force and asks "If that's how the Sith use the Force then why are they known as evil by the rest of the galaxy "

Jake answers that too " From what I believe the Wannabe Sith are the reasons for the bad reputation as well as a few Sith that only used their power for personal gain here's a fun fact did you know the Sith ruler known as Darth Raven was a Jedi who turned Sith to stop slavery around the Galaxy and it was the Jedi who didn't like that as that's how they found Force-sensitives and started the war not to mention the Jedi Council used the darkest Force technique on him removing all his memories and making him a slave to the Jedi letting the worse possible Sith replacement in power "

Anakin was about to say something but was interrupted when Aang returned to the room saying "The Republic has agreed to your terms " Jake said "That's great news let's have an amazing partnership from here on now " while smiling he also turns to Anakin and says " we will continue this conversation at a later date " leaving the room with his bodyguards
