Trying to Calm Anxious Hearts

Shine turned to Kookie, "Are you done? Let's go fast, I am so excited to meet everyone. It's been almost six months since we haven't seen anyone."

Kookie nodded, "Let's go. I'll get the car. You come out fast."

Shine took out her phone and called Jimin to let him know that Kookie was dropping her home.

Once they were in the car, Kookie suggested, "Shine, let's go to the café and take something for everyone."

Shine agreed, "That's a nice idea. It's been so long since I had my favorite coffee from the café. I'll have that as well."

Kookie smiled, "Okay, so let's go and enjoy our holidays. By the way, when are you planning to tell Hobi Hyung about your feelings?"

Shine blushed, "I'm planning to do it this holiday. Probably I will ask him to come out with me for lunch or dinner and then tell him. But I haven't decided yet."

Kookie asked, "What about you? When are you planning to tell Tae oppa?"

Kookie looked sad, "I don't know, Shin. I am waiting for him to propose to me. It's been almost eight to nine months since I have not spoken to him or even seen him."

Shine understood Kookie's situation, "Come on, sweetheart. Why are you getting upset? You know very well why he wasn't able to come and meet you."

Kookie sighed, "I know he is doing a Kdrama show and he is busy with his shooting along with Kim Industry. But I can expect one call in a month. I tried calling him several times, but most of the time it was unanswered, or he tells me that he will call back as he is busy."

Shine tried to cheer Kookie up, "Oh my God, Kook! Relax, you are thinking too much. Now we are going home. You can meet him tomorrow and ask him. I know he will answer all your questions and clear your misunderstandings. Now please be happy, we are going home."

Namjoon was sitting at a table in the café, lost in his thoughts, when he saw Jin and Tae walk in. He was upset with Jin for not telling him about his marriage plans and his move to the US, but he didn't know that Jin was also clueless about it.

As Jin walked towards Namjoon, he heard a familiar voice calling out his name. He turned around to see Kookie and Shine standing behind him.

Jin surprised, "Kookie, Shin, what are you guys doing here?"

Kookie had already seen Tae with Jin, but he ignored him, still angry with him. Tae looked at Kookie and smiled, but Kookie ignored him, making Tae realize that Kookie was angry with him.

Shin explained, "Oppa, we got a three-month break for exam preparation and exams. We were going home to surprise everyone. Me and Kookie came here to pick up some food for everyone at home, and we ended up running into you and Tae Oppa."

Jin replied, "Oh, I see. It's so nice to see you both after so many months. Sorry I couldn't take out time to come and meet you both."

Kookie chimed in, "It's okay, Hyung. Everyone is very busy nowadays. But I'm happy that you and Joon Hyung are at least taking out time for each other from your busy schedule. Otherwise, there are people who don't even return a call after seeing a missed call."

Kookie said this while looking at Tae, who understood why Kookie was angry with him for the first time. A little smile came on Tae's face, seeing Kookie angry with him for the first time and looking adorable, but he didn't react and looked down, thinking that he needed to do something to cheer Kookie up.

Kookie continued, "Hyung, please go ahead. Joon Hyung must be waiting for you. Me and Shin will join you guys after placing the order."

Kookie and Shine went to order food, while Jin and Tae went to sit with Namjoon.

Jin and Tae approached Namjoon who is sitting at a table, looking tense and upset. Jin asked what was wrong.

"Hyung, I am very angry and upset with you," Namjoon replied.

Kookie and Shine, who had been standing nearby, overheard Namjoon's words and asked him what had happened.

Jin looked confused and asked Namjoon to explain what was bothering him.

"Because you didn't tell me that Rhea Aunt is looking out for a girl for your marriage," Namjoon said, his voice shaking with anger. "And not only this, she has also selected one for you."

Everyone was shocked by this revelation.

Tae tried to calm Namjoon down and explain that he was having a misunderstanding. "Please Hyung, trust us. We are not aware of any of this. You know, more than you, he fears losing you," Tae said, referring to Jin.

Namjoon eventually realized that Tae was right and apologized for getting upset. "Mianhane Hyung, I was very scared. I can't afford to lose you," he said.

But Namjoon was not convinced. "I don't have any misunderstanding," he insisted. "And this is not all. You are even going to US, that's why Aunt wants you to get settled before you go to US."

Everyone was shocked to hear this, especially Jin, who was just as surprised. "I am not understanding one thing, how come my marriage topic has come up and I had a clue that dad is planning to send me to US for the expansion of his business there," he said.

Namjoon accused Jin of not telling him about the plans. But Jin clarified, "Joona, I didn't know the plan. I just happened to meet one of my clients last week & he happened to have his business in US. He told me that dad is planning something like this, but he is not sure whether he will send me or Taehyung."

Tae added, "How come I came into the picture? Dad knows that I can't go, I am already busy with my schedule & I hardly get time from my shoot & office."

Jin told Tae to relax and explained that his client had only mentioned the possibility of sending one of them to the US, but nothing was set in stone.

Kookie tried to calm everyone down. "Hyung, I think you all need to calm yourselves. I know it's a concerning situation but unless and until we are not calm, we can't think of any solution."

As Kookie was speaking, little did he know that a shocker was coming for him, Tae, and Shin.

Namjoon was still anxious about the news he had received from his mother earlier, and he couldn't shake off his worries. He decided to confide in his family and ask for their help.

"Hyung, I think I should tell mom about us. At least she will try to help us or at least will tell dad, and he will speak to Ki Tae uncle about us," Namjoon said, his voice filled with concern.

Jin agreed, "Even I think we should tell Ji Hyun aunt. But how come she knows about all this?"

Namjoon explained that their mothers had a gathering at the Kim Mansion, and everyone was discussing marriage, starting with Jin's and Tae's plans, then moving to Suga's, and finally, Kookie and Shine's.

Kookie and Shine, who had just arrived at the cafe, were shocked to hear their names. "Why us?" they both asked.

Namjoon answered, "Mom told me that Eun Jung aunt wants Kookie and Shine to get married. That's her wish."

Kookie could see that Tae was upset, but he was trying not to show it. He, too, was worried about losing Kookie.

Meanwhile, Shine's phone rang, and she saw that it was Jimin calling. She answered the call, and Jimin asked, "Shin, where are you both? It's almost 9:00 PM, and dad will be coming home soon, and it's dinner time."

Shine replied, "Oppa, I came to the cafe with Kookie to buy some snacks for everyone, but we met Jin, Namjoon, and Tae Oppa here. Don't worry, I will be there soon."

Jimin said, "Okay, come fast," and disconnected the call.

As they all prepared to leave the cafe, Tae was lost in thought, realizing how much he cared for Kookie and how afraid he was of losing him.

As they left the café, Jin felt the need to reassure Namjoon that everything will be okay. "Don't worry, Joon. We will figure something out," he said with a comforting smile.

Namjoon looked grateful but still seemed worried. "I'll try talking to Ji Hyun aunt," he said. "Maybe she can help us."

Jin nodded in agreement. "And I'll speak to my dad. He might have some solutions too."

Tae then suggested they meet for lunch the next day since they all had the day off. "That's a great idea," Shine agreed. "I'll let Jimin Oppa know, you just text us the time and place, Tae Oppa."

Tae agreed to arrange the lunch and assigned tasks to the others. "Kookie, can you speak to Yoongi Hyung? And Joona, can you check with Hobi Hyung?" Namjoon and Kookie both nodded in agreement.
