Over time my siblings each arrived, it was about 50 year between each of them. Demeter was the next to arrive, than came Hera, and finally Poseidon.
As the eldest, I made sure that they could rely on me, and no it was not so that I gained their trust and they saw me as their only true leader. And what exactly did we do all this time inside our fathers stomach? Well we made due with what we had and it was alot.
Hera really got into Chess, yes you heard me I invented the board game chess out of bordem and taught them to play. Sadly only Hera got into it, though it was fun to play against herr. Poseidon really got into surfing, turns out that the acid would actually have giant waves. So after inventing surfing and creating surfboards that were acidproof and teaching Poseidon, he would be out in the acid riding the waves all the time. As for Hestia and Demeter they were close to each other and spend most time talking to each other.
One day, as we were rested by the acid river, I studied them carefully. It struck me how much they looked so different from each other, I had assumed that we would all have greek features but I was really wrong. Poseidon was a Hawaiin through and through, from his build to his features. Hera looked like the English Royalty, and Demeter looked to be maybe indian or , though she had green eyes and quite some muscle. Hestia looked as if she had originate from somewhere European. As for me, you might be wondering what I looked like? Well I had short black hair that I plan to grow out and me skin was a olive tone. My eyes though were this golden red color.
Now there was the matter of the Underworld, from what I know Zeus and Poseidon will split up the domains over the Sky, Sea and the Underworld before the war. So that meant that I should go to the underworld and set it up before I take it. If I can prepare the underworld in advance I could have my own kingdom ready way before the war.
I wanted to get ahead of the others, I had several goals to focus on after I leave this place and that meant that I need to go straight to the Underworld and actually combine it with Tartarus into one single realm, that would be the hard part. Next I need to destroy and recreate that realm to be of use to me. I needed to get so much done and sure I had eternity to do it but it had to be as soon as possiable.
I looked at my four younger siblings and thought for a moment before speaking up. "We are going to be leaving here soon."
That got their attention. Hestia leaned forward slightly, her expression calm but curious. Poseidon crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow. Hera's gaze sharpened, and Demeter tilted her head, studying me.
"Our younger brother, Zeus, will come for us. He'll have a plan to overthrow our fatherm Kronos and free us from this prison." I continued.
Poseidon raised an eyebrow. "And how exactly do you know all this?"
"I had alot of visions," I replied. To be honest I havent really told any of them that I already had my domains and could use them. While most only start with 1 or 2 when they are born and get more later on I started out with 14 already. "I can see glimses of the future here and there when Im meditating."
Poseidon shrugged and got back to polishing his surfboard.
Hera, however, wasn't as easily brushed off. She crossed her legs, her piercing gaze now fully locked onto mine. "And you trust him?" she asked, her tone sharp. "This… brother we've never even met?"
"Of course I don't," I admitted, leaning back and folding my hands behind my head. "But it doesn't matter. What I've seen shows he'll manage to succeed. The question isn't whether Zeus will come for us; it's whether we're ready for what happens after. That's what I'm focused on."
Hestia's soft voice broke the tension. "Ready? What do you mean? We've been trapped here for... who knows how long. What more can we do?"
I gave her a faint smile, hoping to reassure her. "The second I'm out of here, I'll be leaving for a while. There are things I need to do before we can confront what comes next."
Her brow furrowed, her usual calm slipping into worry. "Wait, are you leaving us?"
"Not permanently," I said quickly, holding up a hand to soothe her. "I'll be gone for a bit, but I'll be back. Zeus will take care of you in the meantime. You'll be with him while I handle... other matters."
Demeter frowned, her green eyes narrowing. "You're asking us to trust a stranger we've never met, and then you're planning to leave us in his care? That doesn't sit right with me, Hades."
I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "Demeter, you're not children. You don't need me holding your hand every step of the way. You're all more than capable of handling yourselves. Yes, as your older brother, I will protect you with everything I have. But that doesn't mean I'm here to babysit you."
Hera smirked, leaning back with a flick of her hair. "A little harsh, don't you think?"
"Maybe," I replied, shrugging. "But it's the truth. What's coming is bigger than all of us, and I have responsibilities beyond just keeping us safe. If I don't prepare for what's ahead, none of us will make it out of this in one piece. Zeus will need me at my best, and so will all of you."
Hestia glanced down, her hands fidgeting nervously. "What if you don't come back?"
I stepped closer, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I will," I said firmly. "You have my word. And when I do, we'll finish this together—on our terms."
