Davien got the handsome part down but unfortunately, nothing else. To top it all, he is a vampire. However, she won’t have minded his terrible traits if she loves him but she doesn’t, and neither does he love her. When her father says she has no option but to marry him, Bel vows to do everything in her power to make Davien hate her. If she can’t stop him from marrying her, she can at least make him end the marriage. She will be the worst bride ever. But what happens when Davien can handle her antics and shows nothing but love to her regardless of what she does? Cover isn’t mine. All rights to the artist.

Journey Preparation

She arrived in her room, feeling lonelier than ever before. Perhaps it was because the room was completely bare. She should have spent more time in Hazel's room, but she knew she didn't want to do that.

Throwing herself onto the bed, she sighed deeply. She still hadn't asked questions about the journey. Maybe it would be better to go in blind, as knowing wouldn't change the situation.

Bel stared at the ceiling for a long time. She didn't fall asleep; her thoughts just churned. Suddenly, she heard a loud knock. The fact that her room was empty made it echo more than usual.

Startled, she jumped. Could she have really laid in bed until lunchtime? She called for the servant to come in, and the door opened to at least five servants, each holding a number of gifts.

Bel sat upright immediately. "What's going on?" she asked in horror.

"King Arnold asked us to bring these to you," one of the servants explained.
