"It's time to die," he declared coldly, his voice cutting through the chaos of the battlefield. The malicious intent in his eyes was clear as he prepared to deliver the final blow.
However, the battlefield dynamics shifted abruptly. Just as Vargus's spear lunged forward, the earth itself seemed to come alive. With a thunderous rumble, a massive wall of earth erupted from the ground, intercepting the spear's path and thwarting the attack.
Almost simultaneously, a powerful blast of water surged toward Vargus with formidable force, compelling him to leap aside with a startled grunt, narrowly avoiding the aquatic assault.
From the midst of these elemental defenses, two new figures made their presence known. The first to appear was a woman of striking appearance, her long blue hair cascading like a waterfall down her back.
