Part 2

Lucas Lumen is standing outside on his base's balcony; it is a warm summer day - The air was slightly humid, causing his light brown hair to begin to curl and his glasses to fog slightly; but the sun was glaring down at him as if mocking him for being a vampire necromancer. Lucas didn't mind, in fact he cherished conflict no matter what it was. Conflict was what made man, well, man; so for him to reject their ideals by bypassing death, it just made mockery of man's issues.

Lucas watched as the birds flew by. He swirled the red wine in his wine glass, then put the glass to his lips and drank it, licking his lips afterwards to fully consume each drop. He pushed his glasses up, making sure to keep his glass steady so as to not spill his beloved wine. Lucas did not need to wear glasses, as being a vampire improves any physical limitation the victim's body had; but it did have its uses, though, and that was the fact that wearing glasses makes it less likely anyone would punch him. Another thing Lucas did to trick men was to stand outside during the day. He is a vampire, so he should burn right? No, in fact, he would not burn, because his necromancer powers counteracts it.

The days of old were behind him, and his past as a serial killer was beneath him; he was better than that now, more influential than he could ever hope for, and he was going to use that influence to cause as much pain as he could. The birds have stopped chirping, the air drifts by him, and Lucas turns and faces the wall; he then puts his hands on his thighs and crosses them on top of one another. Lucas closes his eyes; he has been working up to this day for a while now, to what would be his ultimate goal for the day. Lucas did not know when exactly his body would start to change, but he knew when the day came, he was going to use all the tools he could. His mind drifted to the day that he was killed, how his head would explode and the world would fall into chaos, and there were no repercussions to be seen; he thought it was all well and good for not living anymore, but the fact is he would kill for it.

Look at him, look at Lucas Lumen and think about how much better he is than you. How much better he is than you think you are. How much better he is than you might become if you died. He would be better if he's dead, and he is, which made him godly. Lucas has changed so much since he was killed and resurrected by the gods. He went from a killer to a vampire, a vampire to a necromancer. He went from a serial killer to a cartel leader. This is where he should be, the top of the tree and never the victim of an arrow, but no. He has to do something, he has to make things better for himself no matter the death count.

Lucas turned away from the wall and turned to face the setting sun. For once he felt like he could just let go and relax. He leaned back into his chair and started looking at his notes again. His hands were crossed over his lap and his eyes were open. This was what he needed, this was what he needed the most. Lucas had been toying with a few names and ideas, names like 'The Blood-King', 'The 1000 Corpse Man' or maybe his mother's name, Elia, and that was enough to go on; that was enough to get him started. His mind began to wander more into how he was going to go about setting things up. Lucas let go, and allowed himself to be in the present. He is still the boy, but he has so much more power than he could ever fathom. He started to draw figures on his papers and write names that would help him plan his next move.

Lucas went back inside his base, and entered his study. Lucas leaned over his laptop computer; he was sitting on his lounge room couch with a few papers and a pen. He was sketching out his next move and it was going to be quite an epic one. The laptop beeps and Lucas quickly turned the screen over and saw that there was an email in his inbox. He took his eyes off the laptop and got up to shut it off. It took him a few minutes to shut it down, and he placed it on his coffee table. Lucas then turned to the couch and sat on it. Lucas reached out his hand to turn on the television, and pulled out his phone to check the time, it was past 4 pm, but that was of no use to him.

He turned to face his phone, and pulled the cover off to reveal a dark, black screen. A familiar song started playing, and Lucas looked around to make sure no one was near the television to see what he was doing, but no one was there. The song ended and the screen switched back to black. Lucas looked down at his phone and typed on the screen, but nothing happened. He looked at his screen and it read: 'No access'. Lucas pulled his phone away and began to tap it on the couch. He began to type again, and a few seconds later, the phone started to work again. It was a text message from who he thought was his mother, except that she never sent a message. It was from his 'god', and he had not told her he was a vampire, but he wanted to set up a meeting with her tomorrow. Lucas smiled, and typed out: 'I have you.'

The world is burning, you have no choice but to take the fire inside. Lucas knows how to make enemies and enemies make the people that are not the enemies tremble. For Lucas, that was the reason why he was so influential. He used his charisma to his advantage and he made all the right people afraid of him. If it was anyone else, it would be impossible to manipulate the fear and awe that Lucas generated. Lucas then typed on his computer: 'I'm on my way.' and then he put the phone down and got up to leave. He was going to meet with his god and take her to where he was going to end the world. There was no doubt in Lucas' mind that he was going to be a good god for his mother; a great god. He walked out of his base and drove off into the night, with the sun setting in the west.

Lucas pulled up to a small, rundown coffee shop and stepped out of the car. He pulled his sunglasses from his shirt and slipped them on his face. He opened the door and started to walk inside, but then he stopped and looked down at his phone. He was almost out of juice, he had only done this once before, it was not something that he was excited about, but he knew he was going to die soon, and he had to make sure everything was ready. He closed the door behind him, and proceeded to stand in the shop which sells bags of coffee grains. He picked out a bag, then walked to the cashier.

"Is this everything?" The cashier asked Lucas.

"Yes." He replied.

"That'll be 5.25$." Lucas purchased the bag, and then left the shop. Lucas knew the power of coffee; it was calming to have, which made it easy to poison individuals since he would often spike it. He pulled out the keys to his car, and got in. He drove off slowly and parked in a dark street, and got out. Lucas stood in the shadows and waited for his god to arrive. He pulled his shades down to rest on his nose and closed his eyes. There were so many enemies in his way, and he was going to burn them. The world would burn under his feet, and his name will be in the history books. He waited patiently for his god to come.

"Lucas, is everything ready?" His mother asked him from the shadows. She was a shade, and could not speak so she created images in Lucas' mind so he could see her and hear her; she was afraid that her voice would get to him, so she would use her pictures to communicate. Lucas only had one thing to say to her: "Of course." He was in the same position as her, and that made her proud. He knew that, though she was in the way, having a Mother around made him seem less likely to end a life.

"Alright," his god responded. "I'll be here."

"I'll be right there." Lucas responded.

"Be careful." His mother said.

"Thanks." Lucas said. "I will."

Lucas was going to end all existence. His only objective was to end everything and everyone. He did not want the world to end, he wanted them all to be afraid of him. He wanted to end everything because that was his purpose, his sole reason for existing. He was not satisfied with the world that it is today. If he was to die now, he would just be a ghost, and that was never good enough. Lucas wanted to die, but if he had his way, he would want to die a better way; he wanted the world to be in fear of him, and he wanted them to respect him. There was no more room for respect. He was going to end everything. And the fastest, and most flamboyant, way for him to do that was drugs - Rot the vermin's brains until they're nothing more than mush. There was just one problem with this, and that was the Molotov family; but that wouldn't be an issue for him. At least, not an issue yet.
