Jordan was still processing the sudden boost he received after receiving more power from the system. He had tried the Moon Sword and understood why the System had given only a small portion of the power. Just as he had swung the sword, he could feel immense energy coming from the sword.
Because of absorbing the red-tier crystal, Jordan's body had become more durable. His bones were harder than before. He was sure if he had swung the sword before he had absorbed the crystal, his whole arm was sure to have broken.

After leveling the skills, Jordan couldn't help but think that the Zombie was too weak. Maybe it was the fact that he was getting stronger quickly, but he still felt way different and stronger than any Zombie he had met so far.

Right now, Jordan was walking around completely carelessly.

"Quite obvious, I'd be first." Jordan had kept his name as 'Tempest' for a reason because if he hadn't then the system would automatically put his real name. This could be problematic in the future as he would have to hide his name and that was because Jordan didn't want to get attention from other people. He wanted to use his name freely with other people.
"Now that I think about it... I haven't talked to a single person since the apocalypse started. I've already gone insane talking to myself." Shaking his head, Jordan sighed deeply, wondering what to do next.

'An event?'
This has now caught his attention.
"System what kind of event?"
[The events would frequently come around at certain times. It could be considered as an event in a game. Some examples are the Christmas, Halloween, or New years events that usually come in different types of games. The event is one of the best times to get stronger.]
"I see. So one of such events is about to begin soon?" The system stayed silent, having already told the answer to that question. "I was just confirming..."
Jordan did as the system had told him and just sat down on a bench that had somehow managed to stay unharmed and out of danger from the zombies. Hugo was out roaming around.
After around 5 minutes a notification rang in his head.

[This is a message to all those who have survived till now. An event is about to start. Throughout the world, other than zombies, now, beasts will also stay there. The beasts will mostly stay resided in the forests outside cities but they can also come inside and harm you, so caution is to be taken for them.]
[Beasts can vary in shape and size. The good thing about beasts is that beasts will have a higher chance of dropping crystals and gear. Be warned, the deeper you go in the forest, the more dangerous the beast gets. The forest will start to get darker as you go through the forest.]
[This event will be here for two months. The Beasts will also have an ability, so unless you're sure, you shouldn't do and fight beasts. Good luck, humans.]
Some looking at the notification thought that the person was crazy. Why the hell would they risk their lives fighting, possibly, stronger and more dangerous beasts? And why would they send beasts when they already had enough tension about man-eating Zombies? Was that voice trying to destroy humanity?
Others thought that this was a great opportunity to get crystals and gear. How lucky were they? The drop rate of gear was very low. Jordan had killed at least a thousand Zombies and only 158 of them dropped gear.
They had automatically gone inside his inventory but he hadn't taken out even one of them because the grade of the gear was only E or D. The drop rate was low and he was even more glad to have the system.
He had still kept the gear in case there was a use for it. There was some decent gear, like some blue-colored clothes that gave an extra +1 Dexterity He just wore them because they looked stylish but they also gave an extra stat in Dexterity so it was a bonus for him.
Jordan was surprised and most excited about one thing in the whole event.
"The deeper, the more dangerous. System, do you know the limit to how many levels of beasts there could be in the forest?"
[No, but what the system can tell is that the beasts are strong. There are even stronger beasts than the user.]
"Finally!" Jordan was excited that now, he wasn't battling just some stupid level 3 or 4 Zombies and now going to fight higher-level beasts.
"Hugo." Hugo immediately appeared right beside Jordan. He started at the overly excited face of his masted with confusion wondering what happened.
"We're going to the forest outside the city," Jordan spoke with a grin of anticipation.
"It's time to get some crystals and shop points."
