2) Spark of War

{As both MC and the chimera knights roared.... their battle begin.}

They kept attacking MC with their full force where MC managed to block them...

They were engaging in close combat and started dominating the MC little by little.

Them outnumbering MC thought this was it as MC kept getting slower and slower.

One of the chimera knights thought this was the chance and thrusted his sharp razor like hands towards MC's chest.

As the hand kept getting closer, everyone present there kept getting anxious and started loosing hope of winning.

That was the movement when MC caught the chimera's hand and gave a grim smile kicking the other chimeras and said.....

NOW.....LET'S HAVE A ROUND TWO~~~ <MC >

MC then broke the sharp hand of the chimera and as the chimera was in pain...MC bite the chimera's neck and snapped it out of the body.

As MC was covered in blood.... His rationality and calm personality disappeared from everyone's eyes and what remained was the level and fear of apex predator to all the living. Dominating them in every aspect... The MC said..

So.....you guys have red bood as well I thought you will have blue or green blood. But!..... I like it.... I thing I wanna see more.. hehh...hahaha!! <MC >

As the chimera knights trembled in fear... They all kept repeating..

Fear the enemy... Fear the enemy....Fear the enemy. <CHIMERA KNIGHTS>

As they kept repeating the same thing, their body glowed in red... And the atmosphere kept getting warmer, the tension in air kept becoming denser...

What is happening?... Are they going to blast? <CAPTAIN >

No, they want Atharv alive. They aren't fool enough to kill him without extracting the core. <DR. SINGH>

Be extra careful from now on Atharv. They seem to have some kind of power boost. <GENERAL >

I think the power boost is from the fear and anxiety of how strong and unbeatable their enemy is.. And they did say they are some kind of special unit.. So I think they are like successful lab experiments. <MC >

As the color of the chimeras kept changing. Their body also started changing forms having needle like sharper and harder body scale.

One of them moved and suddenly the speed and strength they had was on another level. MC who was targeted to be attacked on the chest managed to avoid getting hit but one of the scales on the chimera's body touched his chest leaving deep cut even though there was dense aura on MC's body.

The chimeras started attacking the MC all at once with there high speed and boosted strength while the MC had no choice but to avoid getting hit by running away from them. But the speed and strength possessed by the chimera was a lot more than the MC and MC got caught. As multiple chimeras holding MC overpowering him, one of the chimera started getting close with his sharp fingers pointing towards the MC's chest.

MC realized that he cannot beat them alone and needed someone to distract them for him having enough time to recover and think of a plan and screamed for help with all his might. A sudden aura burst occurred and all the dense aura accumulated by the MC so far blasted of from his body breaking the cage and damaging the surrounding area.

Before the chimeras had enough time to gain consciousness and realize what happened. The MC started killing them one by one in an instant and suddenly made them prey from predator. In fear one of them said..

Oh great warrior.. We had enough luck to die by the hand of such a great foe. Please enlighten me with the name of my predator from which me and my kind must fear.. <CHIMERA KNIGHT>

I know you can hear me. I will not do anything to you or your kind if you let me and my kind live in peace. BUT... if you try to fight and try something similar again..... That will be the last day you will see with those fucking eyes of yours. <MC >

As MC killed the last chimera knight.. He removed the aura and walked saying..

sigh...That was tiring... <MC >

And fell on the ground. His blood loss was a lot more than normal people can handle and the cuts were deep.

Army near the trap came to rescue MC and toke him back to the base camp for treatment.
