Meeting Pro. Oak

Opening my eyes, I look around and find myself sitting at the root or a tree inside of a forest. Remembering my meeting with the silhouette I feel excited.

Thinking menu, a transparent screen appears with four option, them being Pokedex, Pokemon, Bag and World Storage.

I immediately open pokemon and just as the silhouette said I find a pokemon egg in it. I will it and the stats of the egg appear in a new screen next to the previous one. It has a lot of question marks for its profile. Under State, it's written that it'll hatch soon and in trainer memo, it says that it's a 'pokemon egg given to Zero by Genesis".

Calming down my racing mind I will the egg to appear in front of me. taking a closer look at it I feel a strange connection like there's a string or something similar binding us together.

Deciding to investigate it further after Ralts has been born I open the bag option. In it, I find the changes of cloth I picked while creating my body, 10,000 Pokedollars, 10 pokeballs an ID card and a note.

Taking out the note I begin to read it.

"Hello, Zero,

If your reading this then you've arrived in the world of pokemon safely. Pallet Town is two miles in the direction you were facing upon awakening. Also, do remember that to be able to have pokemon you must be 10 years old. So, in the meantime make sure to avoid the police or find another excuse for why you have a pokemon with you. Well, that's about it, also I've seen what you picked for your body hehe, anyway good luck and have fun.

Sincerely Genesis."

Looking up into the sky I couldn't help but let out a smile and mutter "Thanks Genesis".

Speaking of my body, I stand at 5'1 despite being 10 making me a bit taller than most other kids my age. And by the time I stop growing, I'll be standing at 6'5. I have white hair with purple highlights, a swimmer type body with lean muscles, a face that would make most girls blush and made myself really big somewhere else.

I'm currently wearing dark blue pants, a white undershirt with a black jacket that's water resistant on top, for footwears I have a pair of mountain boots that are also water resistant and incredibly durable and a black backpack on my back.

Looking down at the egg it still hasn't begun to hatch so I place it in my backpack. Getting up I put on my backpack backward, so the actual bag is in front of me and I begin heading towards Pallet town.

On my way, I decide to find a safe place to stay before checking out my reality marble since I don't know what if there would be problems if the place, I was at previously gets occupied by something else whenever I decide to exit the marble. As for world storage, it was empty when I clicked it, so I guess it's my version of the pc in the games where it lists all the pokemon I've stored.

Along the way, I see pokemon every few minutes. I've seen Rattata, Pidgey, male and female Nidoran, Caterpie and Weedle along with both their evolutions. As I get closer to town the rate of their siting decreases, but I'm still amazed at the fact that I'm seeing real life Pokemon.

Upon entering the town, I ask a random person where Pro. Oak's lab is and head straight there after getting directions.

I now stand in front of the lab, getting ready I walk inside. On the inside, I see a few weird looking machines with bookshelves covering the walls each stuffed with books. Looking further in I see an old man in a lab coat. Going towards him he doesn't seem to notice me as he's currently reading a book with great concentration.

"Ahem" I clear my throat to let my presence be known.

Getting startled he looks up to see me standing there looking at him.

(Pro. Oak) "Hello boy, what can I do for you." He questions while looking a bit confused.

(Zero) "Hello, Pro. Oak, my name is Zero and I would like to ask if it were possible for me to receive permission to raise my pokemon despite not being at the right age yet." Hearing me he gets a look of surprise on his face and comes closer while looking me up and down.

(Pro. Oak) "How old are you." He asks with doubt in his voice.

(Zero) "I'm 9 years old." While saying this I reach into my pants pocket where I will my ID to appear then I grab it and show it to Pro.oak.

Hearing me he still has doubts about me but upon seeing my ID he looks at me in surprise but quickly calms down.

(Pro. Oak) "I'm sorry but it's the law that one must be 10 before they can get their Pokemon license, besides I don't even see a Pokemon with you so why would you need one."

Seeing the confusion on his face I open my backpack and show him the egg.

(Zero) "My Pokemon isn't born yet but I can feel that it'll be born soon."

Seeing the egg, he jumps in shock then tries to grab it in excitement only for him to suddenly freeze. I get out of his way then I unfreeze him. He looks at me in shock and intrigue. Seeing that look I begin to explain.

(Zero) "I'm psychic, it runs in our family. My family lives in multiple regions yet we don't expose ourselves to the general public. When we're born, we automatically get bonded with the children of our parent's pokemon who is their bonded pokemon. My mothers the psychic one of my parents and her bonded one is a Gardevior. I've bonded with its child who you see here. Usually, our bonded one is born on our 10th birthday but through our connection, I can feel that Ralts will be born sooner. I came here to ask if I could get my license early since I don't want to be separated from my Pokemon."

Saying all that to him in a straight face is harder than I thought. This whole story was fabricated on my way to town as an excuse on how I got the egg and how I have psychic powers as it would be found out sooner or later. As for how I can freeze him is simple, I knew how to use them when I awoke and the fact that I caught him by complete surprise allowed me to freeze despite my powers still being so weak.

Looking at Pro.Oak I see him frozen there. I already undid my powers so he must be trying to digest all I've said or is in shock, it might even be both.

(Pro. Oak) "Amazing! What else can you do? Can you tell me more about your powers?"

(Zero) "Calm down and only ask question one at a time."

(Pro. Oak) "Oh pardon me I just got a little too excited. Also, I apologize for suddenly trying to grab your pokemon egg, it's just that it's my first time seeing one in person and couldn't contain myself."

(Zero) "It's ok and if you have any question feel free to ask just keep it one at a time."

Hearing me he runs to his desk sits down grabs a notebook and pen and motions me to sit on the chair in front of him.

"Sighhhhh"

Seeing the sparkles in his eyes I let out a sigh knowing hell be asking me things for hours.
