Void's Song

"Who are you?" Holvos asked the trio. He smirked at them, boasting.

"Is it polite to ask someone's name when you barge in to their territory?" The boy with the white hair said.

"I'm not talking to you, rascal. Tell me your name, and let me add it to the list of the ones who suffered from my hands." He laughed.

"And now you are too arrogant, huh?" The boy with the black hair laughed.

"Hey old man, does this chattering animals speak for you?" Holvos laughed. "Or were you that scared to talk?"

"Ow, Vin, did we just heard a sh*t talking?" The boy with the black hair, Von, said.

"Shut up, Von." Vin then smiled.

"I saw that smile a month ago. Okay, Vin, the floor is yours!" The middle aged man, Melchor, laughed.

"Of course, professor." Vin answered and walked towards Holvos.

"Hey, Von!" Melchor whispered to Von.

"Sir, we will take those two to our room. Don't worry." Von said.

"Okay. We can add spice to your class. I wonder if these two can bring change." Melchor chuckled.

On the other side, nine silhouettes appeared near Ethan. They helped him and made him seat. They also gave him some water to drink.

"Hey, are you okay?" A girl with an orange hair asked Ethan.

"Where's Hiera?" He shouted.

"Don't worry, we will take you to her later. Right now, Von will guard you. You don't have to be afraid. We will protect you.

With that, Lily smiled and took a look at the walking Vin.

"Little boy, aren't you a bit arrogant to challenge the mighty me?" Holvos was laughing this time.

"What's your name?" Vin asked him calmly.

Holvos was taken aback. This boy is a mere ten year old boy, and yet, he is facing him without fear.

"Holvos. Holvos Dereris." He said.

"Ow, another good name going to the dump." Vin said while walking.

"Dump? You little sucker!" He cursed.

"Then come and get me!" Vin yelled at him.

Right now, Holvos was currently blinded by rage. His eyes were filled with hate and disgust.

He gripped the rod on his hand and took a deep breath in. His eyes turned darker and he roared furiously.

"Roar!" But the opposing side was unflinching.

This time, he released nine seals on his rod. The rod emitted a faint orange hue.

The seal's colors were all orange. Nine dazzling orange rings!

He swiped his rod, letting a seal glow. The seal has a red band, three blades and a single vertical line on the left side.

When the seal was released, some part of the plaza became molten lava. Some parts were having stalactites while oozing lava comes out from them.

Vin jumped and released an ice wall. He stepped on the top of the ice wall and let it elevate further, but pieces of rocks came flying to him. He saw an orange seal with an indigo band, three blades and two lines on the top and right.

The pieces of rocks were coming from all directions, and his only way is up, or down.

Vin then created a sphere of fire to protect him. The projectiles were crushed as soon as they hit the edge of the sphere.

"Ice and Fire?" Holvos was startled. He saw people with double laws, and he didn't see anything as shocking as this.

But this amazement only ignited his passion for fighting. He then released three seals.

All of them are triangular planes. They a have three blades, but their bands were colored blue, red and indigo.

"Four Elemental Slash!" He shouted as he swung his rod forwards.

A strange phenomena occured. Mud, lava, tornado and pieces of rocks combined, and a square was formed by the four elements.

"Vin, be careful! It's a square rule!" Yuri shouted, but all they saw was a smile. A grin to be exact.

"I don't think our worries are dispelled by now!" Von laughed.

"Fool, can't you be more reasonable? That person has nine seals. Vin has-- he has, uhm, how many is it?" Yuri stuttered.

"He only has one, but he can have as many as two hundred and seventy in one go. The only limit is his mana." Von explained.

"What?" Yuri screamed.

"What 'what?'" Von asked.

"Huh?" Yuri then asked.

"Nothing. Let's just watch him fight. That's what I said." Von chuckled.

"Boom!" As if on cue, an explosion made them look at the battle that was going on.

Two silhouettes could be seen on the clouds of smoke. On of them is currently panting and the other one is running towards the other.

The battle was obviously a one sided match. When Holvos fused his aberrant seals, Vin had nowhere to go and he can't escape the attack.

The explosion hit him hard as he can't move now. But still, his face is smiling.

He watched the lunging Holvos. Holvos now took a step sideways to the right and let his sixth seal glow up. It is a quadrilateral plane, having four blades, and a charcoal colored band.

"Shadow Rush!" He swung his rod towards Vin. He smiled at the scene.

Shadow Rush is a combination of Earth and Shadow. It produces rock fragments and the shadows will hide them somewhere else.

Predicting its pathway is almost impossible. It preyed on weak victims, and Vin is one of them.

The rock fragments continuously hit him, but he uses the space and some time elements to evade the others.

But Holvos couldn't care about that now. If he killed him, he could bring him to Dariel and become a slave. What good is it to have a slave with four elements.

This boy surpasses the other two in so many ways. Once he get his hands on him, he will be promoted, and become Dariel's right hand man.

"Obsidian Strike!" A spike suddenly appeared and stabbed Vin at his left forearm. He managed to block the attack to his body, but his hand became immobile.

By now, he saw his first symbolic seal on Holvos. It has five blades, and a black band. The symbol it have is the symbol of earth element.

"Hmph!" Vin humphed and pulled out a splinter that was left in his hand.

"You are a capable one, I must say." Holvos laughed. "Why don't you try to become Dariel's slave?" Holvos was now smirking.

Vin's smile grew wider. His eyes glowed.

"Water Dragon Cradle." He mumbled and a blue dragon appeared on his feet. It circled around him four times because of its length.

"Asteroid Smash!" Holvos shouted. His second symbolic seal was released, along with his first seal. The eighth seal has a gold band.

This time, a large rock was sent over to their place. It was travelling in a fast pace, but the most intriguing is that it has lava on its surface.

"So you combined it huh?" Vin smiled.

"Then let's get the party started." He jumped together with the long blue dragon.

"Ice Dragon Cradle!" He shouted, and another long dragon appeared, but it is ice. With that he pulled something from the air.

"Absolute Zero Trident!" A blue trident appeared. It's blade wasn't aligned, but it is formed in a triangular formation. It is almost a hundred and fifty centimeters long, and had two dragons embedded on its shaft, making it easier to grip.

"Don't fool with me, kid!" Holvos shouted, and his third symbolic seal appeared.

The seal has six blades, and a caramel band. He smiled and slashed his rod leftwards.

"Falling Star!" He shouted.

The incoming meteor become very bright, and it travelled faster.

But Vin blocked his rod by the trident. He then stabbed Holvos, but he managed to dodge.

Holvos then jumped up to the air, he slashed again and three stalactites appeared. They targeted Vin, but Vin wiped them all down by using his trident.

He jumped up to Holvos, and swung his trident forwards. Holvos parried and sent a punch towards Vin, which he evaded and held Holvos' hand.

He tilt his body, and threw Holvos to the ground. A dragon then came to welcome him, but he plunged down to the ground and made a pulling gesture. The meteor travelled faster.

Vin flew towards him. Holvos retracted his rod, and he then thrust it forwards, towards the opponent of him.

Vin slightly moved his path leftwards and spun, as he held the trident on the end of the shaft, making it longer than his rod.

Holvos saw this and immediately ducked, but little did he knew, an ice wall was formed on his feet. It was enough to elevate him high enough to be hit.

He was sent flying, but a stalactite supported him.

The third seal of Holvos glowed again. This time, he sent lava balls towards the falling Vin.

Seeing the projectiles, Vin spun his trident on his hand to block it. He then sent the ice dragon towards Holvos, who was now running towards him.

Holvos sent out a stalactite to meet counter the dragon's attack.

"Boom!" The two were both sent flying away.

But the battle isn't over yet. The meteor is still falling down. The ninth plaza, no, the whole island would be wiped out in one go.

"Shadow Devil Ascent!" Vin shouted.

A phantom silhouette appeared. It was a bit taller than Vin. It has a black long tail and his eyes are red. It has also white hair like Vin, but it has some red ones.

"A summoner?" Holvos was startled. He saw him use more than two elements now, and three summons.

In his amazement, he forgot about the battle. The phantom then appeared before him.

It jabbed him, and he felt his body went numb. He was kicked by it and was sent flying.

He adjusted his body midair, as he put the rod in front of him. The phantom then appeared before him, but it stepped back.

He was taken aback by its movement, and he knew danger was coming. He just don't know wether this phantom can seize the opportunity.

But, his analysis was wrong. He was late for one second, and the attack wasn't from the phantom.

The water dragon bore its fangs on him, and another attack came. This time, he was unable to parry against it. He was sent flying and dropped down while rolling a few meters back.

But he still stood up, he sent stalactite after stalactite to Vin. He's running around and sending attacks.

Lava, mud, sand and rock fragments. That's what could be seen from him. He attacked non-stop, making Vin his target.

Of course, Vin won't just stand there and receive it. He jumped, teleported and even parried them.

Dirt was formed on his body, and his uniform is full of it. The meteor is still not stopping.

Vin knew that time is running, and he must stop the meteor before it arrives and wipe off the island.

"Spatial Lock!" He shouted. Holvos, who was attacking, now became a statue. The space around him contorted and his movements were arrested.

"Abyss Spear!" Vin shouted. A spear then appeared from his hand. The spear is almost two meter tall, its shaft is almost one hundred and seventy-five meter and the tip is twenty meters long.

Its color is a combination of black, red, violet, purple and fuchsia.

The spear emitted some dark radiance, but he couldn't care about the attributes of it. Right now, he knew that this spear will end his life.

"Void's Song!" Now, a giant ball of energy appeared. It originated from the other hand of Vin.

The ball's color is purple, with a bit black. A soft hum was heard when it appeared.

"This ends now!" Vin shouted.

"Guilty!" The highest head of the Court declared.

It's been three days since the news shocked the world. Holvos' body was sent back to Dereris' household, and his brother asked Dariel to avenge him.

Dariel tried to ignore him, but Dereris' influence was the one that boosted his.

Melchor knew that this will be a biased court decision. They don't know how they managed to bribe witnesses, but they knew it will be like this.

The judge also knew this, but he turned a blind eye on it, because he doesn't want to anger the Supreme.

A Supreme may be not knowledgeable, but having power like theirs make the whole world tremble.

"Ninth Plaza is now closed and won't be operating for ten years." Melchor also knew this, but he was still shocked.

Ten years without these monsters would mean ten years of terror from Dariel. This is a very bad news.

"Also, the accused, Mr. Vin Dreia, son of Melchor Dreia, will be banned from obtaining seals. That is all!" The judge said, hinting the end of the case.

Melchor's face is still frowning due to intense hatred. His brows was still knitted in rage.

This time, many people left and only the two of them were left. Melchor's eyes was still filled with hostility, but Vin has his eyes calmed.

"Melchor, I know it's a bit biased, but we can't do anything." A voice was heard.

The owner of the voice walked towards them and looked at the calm Vin. He nodded and turned his gaze to Melchor.

"It's okay, thank you!" With that, they stood up and walked away.

The jury can be not biased, but they didn't do so. Why?

First, the judge is a Dereris. His name is Furrel Dereris. His control over the parliament is large and he can tilt a case into his own interest.

Second, they were afraid of Dariel. Seeing the Dereris Clan, their blood would boil, knowing that the clan is the right hand man of Dariel.

Third, they don't want another monster. Dariel is one, and the other Supremes. Another powerhouse would mean another adjustment on the parliament.

And if the adjustment happened, the heads may become tails, and the tails may become heads.

"Melchor, if you want, I can enslave that kid, and let him get enough seals." Furrel chuckled.

"No thanks!" Vin declined. "And oh, I remember those two. Maybe if I can make them testify, I can regain my freedom." Vin then put his hand on his chin and was like thinking something.

"Little boy, the case is closed. You can't do anything about your own freedom." Furrel smiled at Vin.

"But I can do anything about you! Think of it, if Sichleon and Rivley Clans knew about this, do you think Dariel will stop them?" Vin smiled at the smirking Furrel.

"And oh, I remembered them saying that they smuggle drugs. I think it is from the Dereris. Anyways, Mr. Judge, one wrong move and a civil war will erupt in your country." With that, they both turned around and walked away.

Furrel was still silent from the words of a ten year old kid. What a waste he is so damn stubborn.

Seventeen people, sitting around a table. Twelve of them were kids and five are adults. One of them is standing and the others were frowning.

"Disbanded? You mean, our class is not a class anymore?" Kaye screamed.

"Yes, that's what they say. And I think it's a good idea." Vin said.

Melchor's brows that were knitted, were now crossing each other.

"I agree." Titus raised his hand.

"What? Are you insane?" Mei stared at him with killing intent.

Melchor's brows relaxed. He was still thinking.

"Let me listen to it, Captain." Melchor stared at Vin.

They all stared at Vin, waiting for their captain to speak.

"Okay, listen here. From today onwards, we are criminals." Vin laughed.
