Ruling by Fear

It was one of their long trips by sea. After the ship had pulled through a rough tempest, the crew and the passengers abroad found themselves at the mercy of pirates roaming those waters for so long.

Everyone grabbed their weapons or what could be considered as one and fought for themselves.

Jallal and Bellal pressed their backs together, protecting each other as they tried to keep the pirates at bay. So far, they seemed to do well. Untell one of them knocked Bellal's sword with a ball fastened to a chain, which he then used to restrain the man.

As the metal bound wrung around the man's arm, Bellal found himself unable to move to aid Jallal who was soon surrounded and cornered.

Bellal ground his teeth when he saw the other man in mortal peril, and he grabbed the chain with his hand tightly. Veins twitched the long of his arms and on his forehead as he began a tug of war with the pirate.
