Chapter Twenty Two

I groan as I tossed and turned in bed. I know dad would give me an earful in the morning, and so, I'll just run away and avoid him for a few days.

Spending thirty minutes in the bathroom during an auction was not a good idea. The lands had already been acquired by the time I got back. And asides from that problem, I now have the most handsome and richest man in the city following me about, I don't care if it was intentional or not but I've really started to meet him everywhere I go.

Like right now, I'm at a bar close to Anna's house, it hasn't even been ten minutes yet but somehow, Zach Lee just happened to have walked into the exact same bar I was, at 2:35 freaking AM in the morning! I'm getting chills.... Not that I'm important or anything, but I feel like he followed me here.

Or not....He looks around the place for a while and smiles, then he approaches some guy in the booth next to mine, I unintentionally let out a sigh of relief as a smile made it's way to my face. I sniff as I felt my nose getting itchy, great...I caught a cold too. I don't even understand what I'm doing in a bar at this time, I didn't order anything except some water which the waitress brought for me.

I decided to leave, I'm starting to feel sleepy and it won't ba a good idea to fall asleep in a place like this, even though it looks fancy and all. I don't want to go home cause Zach can turn up at my front door in the morning and introduce himself as my new neighbor....I wouldn't be surprised.

Anna wouldn't mind if I crashed at her place for the night....
