Making A Grand Show Of Things Part 2

"Yue! What did you just do?" Princess Venessa asked, finally, seeing how Yue did not plan to explain herself.

"Hmmm? What did I do?" Yue asked back, acting all mysteriously. Her answer caused Princess Venessa to purse her lips.

"Fine! Don't tell me!" Princess Venessa turned her head, not wanting to look at Yue anymore.

The procession made its way to the gates of the academy, where both Yue and Princess Venessa stood up on the back of the wagon and looked at the crowd that was gathering. She then turned around to see the gates of the academy opening and Dean Clarkson walking out. Behind him was Clara, who kept her head lowered. But Yue was not dumb. She could see the cuff marks on Clara's wrist, proving she had been locked up someplace. "Princess, let me handle these idiots."

"Okay, but if you need help, let me know. I will make them wish they were dead." Princess Venessa answered. She wondered just what Yue had up her sleeve that was going to make the dean of Arches Magic Academy bow to her whim.

Ignoring the dean altogether, Yue turned and looked out over the crowd of onlookers with a smile on her face. "Citizens of Seris! Today I stand before you as someone who has been proclaimed dead. I do not know why this is so. Instead of sending out a search and rescue team, the Arches Magic Academy decided to just forgo with a search and proclaimed me dead. Now, as you can see, I am standing before you as fit as a fiddle." Yue smiled and jumped up and down to show she was indeed fine.

"I was never harmed in any way, and not wanting to state the obvious, I am pretty far from dead. But I ask you this. Why would Arches Magic Academy not wish to send a search party out for me when I, a commoner, risked my life to save the high class noble sons and daughters from their plight. Those same noble sons and daughters who pissed themselves and cried as they were face to face with a Spark Lion.

"But did they come and stand up for me when they returned home safely after I risked my life? No, they didn't. In order to protect the prides of the noble sons and daughters, they decided to proclaim me dead. But they also did it for another reason. Because I am unable to use Magic. I was a stain on the academy's prestige! Yet, I, who am unable to use magic, was still able to risk my life for these people who do not have a heart.

"These same noble sons and daughters are to be the rulers of our next generation. Out of all of them, only Princess Venessa was willing to put together a search party to come find me. No, that is wrong… My teacher Mrs. Clara also tried to form a party of the senior students, but the dean of Arches Magic Academy stopped her and imprisoned her." Yue paused as she could sense the murderous intent stabbing into her back. Dean Clarkson jumped up onto the wagon and adjusted his jacket as he looked at Yue.

"I do not think you are correct in anything you have said. Although we did pronounce you dead, that was because the search team we sent out found the body of a young girl who they thought was you. Which we then called off the search. But it seems Princess Venessa was someone who would not take what we said as fact, and luckily you have come back safe and sound. As dean of Arches Magic Academy, I humbly ap..." Dean Clarkson was unable to finish his words when Yue suddenly yelled out.

"Wait! You said you found the body of a dead young girl? Who was she? Where did she live? Who were her parents? You must know all of these things, correct?" Yue questioned. She watched as the Dean's face turn black. But he did not express his anger. This caused Yue to click her tongue. She found this dean was very good at controlling his emotions. "Now, let me tell you this here, and now, unless they entered the temple, there was no way they found any dead girls, and if they did, they were already burnt to ashes. You know full well that that temple for our practical was filled with goblins. And you know how goblins act.

"Did you know because you wished to use those goblins as a means for testing those noble sons and daughters for a practical instead of filling the temple with low level monsters who would not hurt the surrounding villages, that three young girls were captured and turned into breeders due to your idiotic decision?

"Dean Clarkson, let me ask who the hell gave you the right to decide one's life or death? Why would you go before the king and beg him not to clear out the temple of the goblins when you know what they will do? Is it because you look down on commoners like me? Someone who has her mother and father fighting on the front lines to make sure fatasses like you are able to live your daily lives in peace? Is it because you think nothing of us and only wish to appease the nobles?" Yue's words caused a murmur in the crowd. Most of them were all commoners, so her words were like a flood gate slowly being opened in the people's hearts. She was sowing discontent within the masses.

"Yes, Dean, explain to us why you would do such a thing?"

"Are you even fit to be the dean of the most prestigious magic academy?"

Once it started, the flood gate that was slowly opening burst forth, unable to handle the torrent of questions asking the dean to explain his actions. Dean Clarson never thought that such a thing would happen. He looked around as he tried to find an answer for it all when his eyes landed on Clara. "It was because your teacher asked me for a favor! She even went as far as using herself as payment for me to ..."

"Dean Clarkson , can you stop with the shit coming out of your mouth?"
