Chapter 62

'I'm exhausted...' Vox thought as he and Reniares were flying back to Amazon Lily on top of Heli. He would never have thought that he perfect plan for a date would go so badly. How bad you might ask? Well...

First, there was the anticlimatic Rollercoaster, then there was the tasteless food from the restaurant. The name made much more sense. What they ate felt like overcooked shit. Afterwards, they came across this young master who was captivated by Reniares's beauty and his sister that was captivated by Vox's beauty. So the young master and mistress thought they could just take them.

There are fewer idiots the world has to worry about, and no, Vox did not kill them.

Reniares kind of hoped to bring him on the right path, she and the other cards and ex-cards saw what they were becoming, exactly what they were trying to get rid of. So they planned to try and help them on the right path.

Her first goal was to make Vox kill less, her pretty much is becoming a coldblooded killer, while it is more efficient to be so in a war, he is staying that even outside of it. She knew that Vox has changed people and not the willing change, a perfect example was Bonny, he also heard from Queen that he used the same method on another woman on Birka.

She was honestly disturbed to know that the man she loved would even do such things, one has to know that killing someone and changing someone's heart is totally different. A person can change, but their heart stays true to their true feelings. Like how Vox, even as he became stronger and crueler, still cared most for his family. But using a spell-like a Change of Heart on someone that was no his enemy, like Bonny, is cruel, even more than killing her.

She and the other cards are trying to make them see that such things are even beyond their enemies. They invaded the Sky Islands and even Changed the Heart of a capable and loved ruler by her people. While the others are tortured even now. She feels disturbed but she will not abandon him and the rest, they are also her family and when someone from your family goes on the wrong path, you just have to bring them back to the right one.

"Renia, want to go to a hotel?" Vox said

"Sure," Reniares responded with a bit of excitement, baby steps, that is what she needs to. First make sure her relationship with him is official and then find ways to show him what he has become.

'He needs a break or he might just fall deeper.' Renia thought she looked at Vox who seemed very tired and without a word held put his head on her lap and used her wings to block the wind. Although surprised by her actions, Vox did nothing to stop her, he very much enjoyed it. Slowly his eyelids got heavier and heavier and eventually, he went to dreamland.

"Heli, go slower, let him rest," Renia whispered into Heli's ears, blocking vibrations from Vox with her wind magic.

Heli didn't make any sound and slowed down to what felt like normal walking speed.

On Amazon Lily, similar things were happening as the cards made it their mission to change their friends in these 2 years to what they were before. Put them on the right path.

Psy was singing a melodious tune to Samuel who was sitting on a sofa after a long day of training, he felt like he was in heaven, her hands gently caressing his hair. the smile on her lips said enough about her feelings at the moment.

Samantha and Kahn were also sleeping together in bed with Wattcobra and a few more of the Watt monsters sleeping on the flower, generating slow sparks of electricity on the duo's bodies to make them recover faster.

Erik was sitting on a hill looking in the direction of Marineford, his hands caressing a statue made of crystals, it was a statue of him and Lucy holding cuddling together. He smiled every time he looked at it, as it was a gift he got from Lucy when the left. It also told him her feelings about which he was very happy to accept.

"Dark Magician can you help me sneak into Marineford? I want to see her."

"As you wish." Dark Magician said and a wave of dark magic enveloped him and Erik. Both of them jumped on top of Blue-Eyes White Dragon and fly away in the distance. they slowly merged in the environment and went invisible.

Alan was in his room drinking a cup of coffee with Forma accompanying him.

"How does it taste?" Forma asked, unlike her normal clothes, she was wearing a normal sleeping gown that although made her look more beautiful, it did not show any skin. She had enough of showing so much skin and wanted to try something different. And she loved the change.

"Delicious, thanks big sis." Alan smiled as he drunk his coffee.

"Stop calling me that, we are almost even in age if we count me just now resuming aging." Forma said a bit frustrated.

"You will always be my big sis, age has nothing to do with it. I respect you that much to know that." Alan shook his head, this woman was his sister figure together with Night Wing, they were his family.

"If you respect me that much than just call me Forma, It is what would make me very happy." Forma grinned as she moved from her seat and sat next to him.

"But it would make me sad." Alan did not relent, he knew what she was trying to do, but he very much likes to play the same game.

With both lovers having a relaxing conversation, elsewhere, Inara was sitting down and chatting with Dark Magician Girl and Queen.

"Ina, never kill without them deserving it," Queen said in a stern voice, the smallest of the Skaarf Family was still the same, and she is the most important person that can help the others change. She is the most loved of everyone here and her opinion will have the most impact.

"I know! Why do you keep lecturing me the last few days..."

"See, Quiet again, I won't listen if you don't tell me." Ina pouted at her.

"It is like this..." Queen proceeded to tell her their view of the others and how they are changing to become what they tried to change. At this rate, they will just replace the current evil and become that evil themselves.

"Listen Ina, I have ruled galaxies, I have don't many things I am not proud of. And I can assure you that if the others don't change, they will later regret it very much."

"What do you regret then.." Ina said after being quiet for a while.

Species have become extinct by my hands, Many have died to this hands...." Queen said as she remembered her most hated past. "Why do you not change your name?" The ever quiet Dark Magician Girl said as she looked at Queen.

"Because it reminds me of what I was, this way I will never forget my past and my regrets," Queen said and starting leaving, saying a few final words to Inara.

"Listen to me, dear Ina. I care for them as much as I did for my sister, and this time, I will do everything I can to keep them. Help us." Shaking her head, she left, leaving a pondering Inara behind.
