Chapter 39

After healing his wounds, Vox looked at the one's around him in surprise. 'How did that hit me? it felt like... a homing missile. all of them seem to be the product of experiments. I need to be careful.' Holding his hand towards a woman with a Katana, Vox sent a large beam of lightning towards her. "Bliskemstraal!" deep blue colored lightning went towards her. Just as it was about to land, the woman blinked out of her position and appeared to his right, slashing her katana down with barely visible speed.

'Shit!' Vix cursed and zapped out of there. as he materialized outside their encirclement, a similar pale blue lightning appeared in front of him. Her hand generating a thick spear of lightning that was shot at Vox point-blank range. As it was about to land, Vox covered the impact point in Haki and braced for impact.

*Bzzzzzztt* Vox flew like a kite in the distance.

"Damn it Varya! keep him close! not help him escape!" The woman known as Miho reprimanded Varya and teleported again from her position. Appearing behind Vox. The others also rushed at them. Only Catherine looked worriedly at the golden light that was slowly taking shape. 'Is this the same as the other time? if so... We must hurry.' Miho shouted as she saw everything. Her genes had part of the space fruit inside them, making her capable of somewhat wielder its powers. So she instantly knew what happened. The others who heard her became very careful. Blackfeather raged as he lunged at Vox. He did not use Rose Offensive as he did not want the situation to reoccur.

With the fight proceeding more heated and the time ticking Vox grinned as he gree excited. 'Almost there' He then took out another card that turned to light. With it everyone's attacks we're stopped, or more accurately "Negate Attack" negated. With the confusion caused by it. Vox zapped behind Ringo, who kept shooting Haki infused bullets that were covered in flames. Without giving him a chance to respond, His head was sent flying. Vox picked up the Revolver and blocked an attack behind him with his lightning. Multiple daggers we're blocked. then behind Ringo, a woman appeared and she plunged her dagger deep inside his back.

"Aaaagh! Fuck!" Cursed Vox but he held her hand and sent a bolt of lightning through it. To his dismay, the person he was holding turned to smoke and passed through him. Leaving a hole in his stomach.

Vox took out another card. He did not want to use this, as it is will also benefit his opponents. But he has no choice. "Rain of Mercy" The card turned to gold light and shot in the sky. soon the rain started to fall and everyone there benefited from it.

Catherine who saw her would healing. Picked up her severed arm and held it against the spot it was supposed to be. Her arm somehow reattached itself due to the rain. Everyone else Healed to full. Except for Ringo who was now dead.

"Truly surprising. Whoever said information wins all wars was not wrong." Vox smiled as he looked warily at the others. Although his wounds healed. His stamina did not. The same was for the others as well.

"Just who the fuck are you." Blackfeather cursed at him. The never imagined him to have so many strange powers. From the insane devil fruit to the ridiculous amount of those cards. that seems to work differently.

"Just someone with a dream, Why don't you tell me about yourselves?" Vox took out another card from his deck. The others grew scared looking at it. 'Just what the hell are these cards.' Miho furrowed her brows.

It was silent for a few seconds. As time ticked Vox grew more confident. The fusion will soon complete and then these 5 will be nothing but dead afterward. The whole fight took only a minute to complete. He has to hold out for 4 more. But now he knows their abilities somewhat.

'The woman over there can create barriers, while this man in red's attacks can't be dodged if his roses are used with them. The other seems to be a space-related ability while one is lightning-based. That leaves only this assassin... Clones? No.. what is she...' Vox then looked at the card in his hand. It was the last card he could use in a fight. And he will have to finish this fight with it or stall long enough.

After 30 seconds of having a staring contest. Anka was the first to move. Hurling a Haki clad dagger at Vox. As Vox blocked it with his Lightning Blade, Behind him Miho appeared and channeled her energy in her katana. Making it glow.

Vox felt immense danger from her Katana and instantly dashed to the side. but was soon blocked by Catherine, who created a shield around him and the golden energy that was now behind him. Making him stuck.

"Fuck!" Vox cursed as he saw that Miho was about to finish channeling. He could get out in a few seconds if he focused on one point. A hastily created barrier can't stop him. But that was never its purpose.

'A few seconds delay is all we need.' Catherine smiled smugly as she saw Vox's ugly expression. Miho's eyes glowed a Blue color. then her Katana similarly glowed in blue. She put her Katana into its sheath. The glow in her eyes intensifying. Her mouth moved slowly as she coldly spat a single word.

"Tsukuyomi"

Then her Katana came out of its sheath, sending a blinding Arc of blue towards Vox.

Well, I will post a chapter a day, since I now will be working as well. If I have extra free time then I will post multiple chapters. But for now, all we gonna do is 1 chapter a day. So Enjoy. ^-^
