Duel Spirit

Kaiba fought valiantly, only to face a surprising defeat in the end. The stadium roared with astonishment, and journalists quickly reported the event to the world. This was a moment that would be remembered in Duel Monsters history, when a legend fell before an unexpected force. Unfortunately, Kaiba left immediately, refusing any interviews.

Kaiba's defeat would trigger various reactions throughout the Duel Monsters world, creating waves of change and deep discussions within the Duel Monsters community and the broader society.

"I can't believe what we just witnessed. Kaiba, considered one of the strongest Duelists of all time, lost in the match!"

"That's right, it's truly remarkable. I thought he wouldn't falter, but his opponent proved capable of defeating him."

"Of course, but what made him lose? Did you see what cards his opponent summoned?"

"I heard it was a monster that has never been seen before. It's causing quite a stir on social media."

"Really? It's been a while since I felt such excitement in the world of Duel Monsters. What do you think, is it just luck or is there a strategy behind it?"

"It's hard to say for sure, but one thing's for certain, Kaiba's defeat will be the talk of the town for a while."

"I agree. Whatever happens next, this is definitely a moment that will be remembered in Duel Monsters history."

Then the media crew rushed to approach Jozuna, the opponent who defeated Kaiba.

The first reporter pointed his mic towards Jozuna. "What's your opinion on the duel just now?"

Jozuna said, "I'm proud of him. Of all the duelists I've faced, he's the strongest."

Another reporter asked Jozuna, "If Seto Kaiba seeks revenge, will you accept it?"

Jozuna replied, "Of course, as long as it benefits me."

Jozuna continued to laugh and pointed his index finger towards the camera. "Listen to me closely."

Throughout Heaven and Earth, I alone am the honored one, the strongest duelist and the future king of games. I will accept challenges from all the duelists in the world. Come to me. And I will crush you."

Pegasus, watching the show from his mansion, murmured, "This boy is so interesting. Let's visit the Duel Academy in the future."

Yugi Muto, Joey Wheeler, and their other friends also reacted to it.

Joey said, "I can't wait to duel him. How about you, Yugi?"

Yugi Muto nodded. He muttered to himself, "Interesting, the two cards he used almost evolved into spirits. And he's also at the same academy as the duelist I gave [Winged Kuriboh] to."

Jozuna left after the interview.

Alexis and Jozuna stayed together temporarily in room 204 at the Slifer Red dormitory, while waiting for their mansion construction to be completed. Besides, Alexis's ambition is to become a teacher. Having a permanent mansion here would be very advantageous.

Jozuna taught Alexis Rhodes combos from the decks that became their wedding dowry. Jozuna's wedding dowry is the Cyber Angel Deck and the Herald Deck. Unfortunately, the Drytron deck is locked and cannot be used. 

The same goes for the branded deck he owns. Some cards from the branded universe are locked. To unlock [Mirror Jade], Jozuna has to establish a connection to the synchro world and purchase the [Ice Jade] deck. Similarly, other cards connected within one lore. 

The requirement to unlock XYZ monsters is to connect this world to the XYZ dimension or astral world, or find a way to unlock XYZ summon in this world. Unlocking XYZ Summon? Yes, does he have to go to a different dimension, the Astral World, out there in space? Or at least find the Emperor's Key among the many Aztec and Inca artifacts scattered across this world. Unlocking the synchro world seems easier, just have to find the Sky Temple in the Andes Mountains. 

The main problem for him now is money and time. Exploration requires time and cost. And he must be prepared to face the dangers that lie ahead, ranging from dungeon traps to attacks from Spirit Monsters. 

Jozuna hopes Paradox from the future will soon come to the academy. However, seeing that Jaden Yuki already has Neos and Yubel, it means the Paradox event crosses space and time around Season 3 after the Yubel event or in the last season, about 2 years from now. Immediately, Alexis received a message that the express package from her mother had arrived at the Academy. A large and somewhat heavy box had arrived. They went down to the academy's harbor to pick it up. 

Jozuna and Alexis then opened it together after returning to their room. Alexis ordered some household items, makeup, and contraceptives because none of those were sold at the academy. But what came instead of makeup and household items were sexy clothes and costumes. Costumes such as bunny girls, princesses, aprons, nurses, doctors, maids, and other costumes were there. 

Alexis's face turned red as she held back her embarrassment. "What has my mother sent to us?" Jozuna raised his thumb. "Your mother knows what we need, Alexis."

They checked each costume and clothing one by one. At the bottom of the box, there was a small box. When opened, it contained supplements for expectant mothers and pregnant women, along with a note on paper saying "We look forward to a grandchild soon."

Alexis was very embarrassed. Then she looked at Jozuna's face. Jozuna looked at Alexis with shining eyes.

"My husband, how many children do you think we want?" asked Alexis.

Jozuna held his wife's hand. "My dear, I want to have many children according to the highest level of monsters."

Alexis was surprised. "The highest level of monsters? Does that mean we'll have 12 children? I won't be able to handle that."

Jozuna replied, "Didn't Queen Victoria of England have 9 children?"

Alexis shook her head. "But is my body strong enough?"

Jozuna then teased her, "So if your body can handle it, do you want to have 12 children with me?"

Alexis nodded shyly. Her face blushed like the sun.

Jozuna said, "Of course you will be strong, and even stronger than normal people, as long as you befriend and become a [Duel Spirit Partner]."

"What is a [Duel Spirit Partner]?" asked Alexis.

Jozuna answered, " Duel Monster Spirits, Duel Spirits, or what are now known as Duel Monsters is the name given to the magical, spiritual, and otherworldly creatures who have the capability to be summoned by a duelist. Spirit Partners are Duel Monster Spirits that have human partners. Their partners and any other humans who possess the ability are the only humans who can see and interact with them. It's also possible to have more than one spirit partner."

"Do you remember the Shadow Game at the Abandoned Dorm?" Jozuna asked.

Alexis replied, "I remember that event very well. I am determined to find out who defeated my brother and defeat them."

Jozuna said, "Besides using Millennium Items, people can also harness the power of spirit partners to engage in [Shadow Games]."

He then added, "Do you believe in ghosts?" 

Alexis replied, "Yes."

Jozuna continued, "Ghosts are actually [Duel Spirit Monsters], as well as vampires and the like. So you don't need to be afraid. But what we should be cautious of is that, just like humans, there are evil spirit monsters, and there are also good ones, regardless of the Type of the monster. Not all monsters of the [Zombie] Type are evil. For example, [Ash Blossom], which is a [Zombie] Type, or [Kuriboh], owned by the Duel King, Yugi, is a [Fiend] Type."

Jozuna added "Duel Spirits have played a pivotal role in human history dating back at least ten thousand years. Humans somehow found a way to summon them to the human world using magic and spells. The Ancient Egyptians learned how to steal humans' Ba, or souls, against their will, and they also learned how to seal Duel Monster spirits (or the means to summon them) in stone tablets by ripping a person's Ka from them, killing them in the process. These tablets resembled Duel Monster cards and later inspired Maximillion Pegasus to create the game. In doing so, Pegasus sealed the Duel Spirits (or means to summon them) in the cards, similar to how they were sealed in the tablets."

Jozuna remembered in the anime about how Jaden found Neos and Neo-spacian card. Jaden found Duel Monsters cards in a crushed KaibaCorp satellite, which he designed as a child, including "Neos", "Neo-Spacians" and the "Chrysalis" monsters. 'It's means that we can make our version of the cards.' He told Alexis "Sometimes, a duel spirit born from the strong emotions of its creator, Someone make a card when he was a child, then in the future suddenly that card born in the Duel Spirit World. Just like Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon. His love and obsession with [Blue-Eyes] created a lot of new [Blue-Eyes] Card just like [Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon] or [Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon]"

Alexis said, "I understand."

Jozuna said, "And the duel monsters we play with now." He pointed to the card in his hand. "They are duel spirits, but they live in a different dimension from us. Only the fated monsters can communicate and interact with us."

Alexis asked, "Do you have a Spirit partner, my husband?"

Jozuna replied, "Yes, but many of them are sealed."

Alexis asked, "Can I interact with them? Or can I have my own Spirit partner?"

Jozuna answered, "You can, as long as they respond to your feelings."

Alexis murmured, "Strong emotions. Alright." Then she resolved to have her own Spirit Partner.

Jozuna said, "Truly. This world is somewhat dangerous. Many [Spirit Monsters] want to destroy the world. From evil Gods, Sacred beast monsters that see only the weak as prey, to demons that want to control human emotions, artificial intelligence that wanted to control the world, and the time travel duelist that wanted to destroy the duel monster."

Alexis was surprised. "So this is the dark side of the world we live in?"

Jozuna said, "But don't worry, because all problems can be overcome as long as we win the duels."

Alexis determined, "So, as long as we are strong duelists, we don't need to worry about anything."

Jozuna proudly said, "Indeed. Throughout Heaven and Earth, I alone am the honored one, the strongest duelist and the future king of games."

Alexis smiled shyly. "Throughout Heaven and Earth, I am the honored one wife. I am your queen."

"Darling."

"Hubby."

They couldn't hold the desires in their heart back anymore, and fiercely kissed each other...
