"Elizabeth, are you okay? Who made you cry today?" I asked, a drizzle of rain pouring above my head.
"Don't be scared, tell me who hurt you," I coaxed my wife.
It wasn't easy, but I managed to calm her down three hours later. During that time, I endured the frigid wind and the downpour of rain that got fiercer as she let loose her woes.
"It's good to see you all bright and sunshine again," I let out a sigh of relief. After three hours, the gloom clouds have all faded, leaving behind the blue hue of the sky and the warm sun.
"It's alright, I'll come back later. I just have to finish some business," I said and rubbed my wife's head. She always liked me doing that.
My job is simple.
I am a spy.
A spy in the game called "War of the Ancients."
My wife used to be a spy as well, but she retired when she was caught by the enemy. To dispel her regrets, I resolved myself to end this war with my own hands.
I know it won't be easy.
I need a Guardian Angel, the leader of Guardian Angels to be exact.
But how can I meet him? Guardian Angels only visit humans randomly, and only the weaklings do so. The chances of meeting the leader of Guardian Angels are zero.
"But there's no such thing as impossible in this game."
If there are strong Guardian Angels, then surely there is a way for weak Guardian Angels to become strong.
And if there is a loyal Guardian Angel, then there can also be a disloyal Guardian Angel.
"One way or another, I'll end this war even if I have to become the devil," I said with a sigh while looking at the sky.
"But for now, foundations are a must. Guardian Angels only invest children and teens. What better way to begin than building a school?"
