003_It's Bedtime (S-4c)
Hey Dad, look! I cooked you some hotdogs!" A boy jumped in excitement, showing a plate of hotdogs to his father.
His father took one look at the plate before frowning. He turned away, blowing out a puff of smoke and putting the cigarette stick back into his mouth.
"It's burnt," he said with the bluntness of a heavy hammer.
"Y-yeah," the boy chuckled and rubbed his head. "Well, it's a little burnt… a-anyway, did you see that earlier? When I put the hotdogs in the pan, a lot of steam came out!" He said, his eyes brimming with excitement.
"That's 'cause your stupid ass put the dripping wet hotdogs into a pan of hot oil. Fucking idiot," he said, his tone lathered in poison while looking down at the boy with disdain.
"..."
Unable to say anything else, the boy looked down at his feet. A moment later, he took the plate of hotdogs and threw it away before going to his bedroom.
There, his pillows accompanied him to sleep.
