8 The Baratie And Sanji

The next morning we took off from Syrup village after saying goodbye to Merry and Kaya. Ussop also already saying his goodbye to his three underlings and told them to look after Syrup village and keep Kaya safe.

The Strawhat Pirates now consists of Luffy, Dan, Zoro, Nami and Ussop.

We all then start sailing to begin our journey on the sea with our new ship "Going Merry".

Our ship has full stocks of food and water given by Kaya and Merry.

I also already bought so many foods and drinks in my inventory using the bounty money from Kuro.

We then start partying on our new ship and also start talking about who should we invites in the future as our new crews to complete our team of pirates.

Luffy suggest we should invite a musician first which we all decline.

We then agrees to search for a cook so he/she can take care of our meals in the ship since our ship has a nice kitchen on it.

I then suggest to visit The Baratie an ocean-going restaurant run by Zeff. That is located in the Sambas Region of the East Blue, close to the entrance of the Grand Line.

I told them this restaurant is famous for their delicious foods which I heard from so many people during my journey.

When Luffy heard about delicious foods, his eyes turns to meat logo and he immediatelly set our next course to The Baratie in which everyone agrees on.

On our journey to The Baratie, Luffy made our new pirate flag so we can officialy become a pirate. Just like in the anime the drawing on the flag from Luffy is so horrible.

So Ussop made the new one which looks exactly like him with long nose, so we hit him on his head and change the drawing just like the original flag from the manga and anime.

After that everyone is doing their own bussiness, in which Luffy trying out the cannon in the ship. Luffy's aim is horrible just like his drawing so Ussop tried it after Luffy and manage to hit the target which is a reef on the sea on his first aim. Luffy then declare Ussop as a sniper of his pirate crew.

Just like magic the plot run on it's own and suddenly Johnny and Yosaku appeared on our ship after accidently Ussop hit them with canon bullet when testing the canon earlier.

I just let the story goes on like in the plot until we reach The Baratie. So I went to the men's bedroom inside the ship to take a nap. While checking on the app to check on something.

I open the app and check on my new status.

So my strenght and agility got an increase while the other status still stuck as they were before. As for the skills, I need to grinds them even further especially on the combat skills so I can better protect myself and my crewmates in the future.

After that I check on the store, since I was banned from buying anymore status or skills from the store I never visit store anymore.

When I saw the store and check on my points I got shock since my points already reach 5 billion points. With this I can buy 5 pills to remove the weakness of a devil fruit.

I never plan to eat a devil fruit before, but if I found a good one that fit me perfectly I might have consider it later. Since I can remove the weakness of the devil fruit with a pill that cost a billion points.

But then to buy the location of devil fruit, it will only points at random fruits across the ocean. Should I gamble on it?

I decided not to gamble for now and just to buy a single pill that cost me a billion points for Luffy.

After finish checking the app and my status, I went to Luffy and just throw the pill inside his wide open mouth, since he is sleeping with his mouth open. The pill just melt inside his mouth and got absorbed immediatelly by his body.

Luffy never even realize he swallowed the pill and just continue with his sleep.

I just smile at his reaction and just went outside and start grinding my skills again until it can reach max level in the near future.

Our journey to The Baratie need 3 days travel on the sea. So during those 3 days, I will just grinding all of my combat skills non stop only stopping to eat and sleep.

3 days later

We finally arrived at The Baratie restaurant, it is a fairly large ship. It takes an oval shape, with the normal masts but has a fish as a front-piece/head. The Baratie has a round bottom. A small array of cannons are lined on the sides, basically it looks like a giant fish.

We then dock our ship at the entrance and start going inside the restaurant. We then orders a huge amount of foods and drinks from Sanji whose acting as a waiter that day.

Apparentlly many waiters quit their jobs in this restaurant recently.

When Sanji meet Nami he began to flirts with Nami just like in the manga and anime.

Sanji is a slim, yet muscular, long-legged man with blond hair which he keeps brushed over one side of his face. Among Sanji's physical traits are his distinctive eyebrows. Both form a spiral but at different ends. His right eyebrow forms a spiral at the outer end, while his left eyebrow forms a spiral at the inner end. Basically he looks like a handsome young man with a weird eyebrows.

When our foods is coming we began to eat while talking about our future journey and how to find and invite someone as a cook at our ship. I keep mentioning about The All Blue in our conversation whenever Sanji is nearby.

I explain to my crewmates The All Blue is a mystical sea of legend, rumored to be the only place in the world where the North, South, East, and West seas meet.

In this legendary ocean, it is said that there are fishes from each of the four seas, and to have such a resource at one's disposal is the ultimate dream of every chef.

I then told them how I wish to have a cook as a crewmate that can cook at The All Blue together with our crews and have a party there.

I noticed Zeff the owner of The Baratie also listening to our conversation nearby. Zeff then took a glance at Sanji who at that time is having a daydream about The All Blue after listening to our conversation.

After our meals we head back to Going Merry but choose to stay for a couple of days on this floating restaurant since the foods are so delicious.

So everyday we just went back and forth between our ship and the restaurant. Since we have a lot of money from Kuro's bounty we can afford to eat at The Baratie Restaurant everyday.

We also already made friends with all the workers in The Baratie.

They also know that our ship is looking for a cook before our journey to the grand line.

Zeff the owner always mentioning Sanji to join our crew everyday. Sanji keeps refusing since he doesn't want to leave The Baratie and leave Zeff alone to handle it by himself.

A few days later the magic plot finally began at The Baratie.

Fullbody, the Marine Lieutenant came and got beaten by Sanji for trying to make trouble at the restaurant.

Then, an even bigger incident occurs when a pirate named Gin, a member of Don Krieg's armada who was being detained by Fullbody, comes onto the ship demanding food. Although denied food, beaten, and thrown out of the restaurant by the crew, Sanji secretly serves the man a savory meal, saving Gin from starvation.

Luffy who saw the act of kindness from Sanji finally decided that Sanji is the perfect cook for his pirate ship.

So just like the plot the story goes on until finally The Don Krieg Pirates arrived to take over the restaurant from Zeff.

I records everything while keeps an eye on Nami. Since I don't want her to go to Arlong alone and got injured in the process.

When the plot continue and Nami tried to bring Going Merry alone, I suddenly arrived behind her and stop the ship.

I then told her if she trust us and considers us as friends an family, she should let us help her. I also told her that we are strong enough that we can handle any problems she had.

Nami then began to cry and asked for help.

I told her we just need to wait for Luffy and our new cook dealing with Don Krieg pirates.

So I took Nami to watch Luffy and Sanji fight againts The Don Krieg pirates.

Before the fight began, Mihawk came out of nowhere and cut Don Kriegs' ship in half with his sword.

Dracule "Hawk Eyes" Mihawk is a world-famous pirate who holds the title of "Strongest Swordsman in the World". He is one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

Mihawk is a tall lean man with black hair, a short beard, mustache and sideburns that point upwards. His nickname comes from his strangely colored red eyes (yellow in the anime), which resemble a hawk's eyes.

He wears black and red ornate clothing with a crucifix pendant that hides a little dagger, which gives him the appearance of a Spanish swordsman. His attire consists of a wide-brimmed black hat decorated with a large plume, and a long, open black coat with no shirt underneath, with red, flower-patterned sleeves and collar. He wears white (light purple in the anime) pants held up by a decorated belt and tucked inside overly large boots in comparison to his leg size.

He wears a kogatana around his neck, appearing as a golden cross-shaped necklace, and carries his sword Yoru on his back when he is not using it.

Just like the original plot Zoro challenge Mihawk and got defeated. The story just continued on like in the anime, the only difference would be I was there along with Nami. I recorded everything using my glasses to be uploaded later on.

Mihawk did glance at me for a while before he finally left with his little ship that resembles a coffin.

After Mihawk left the fight continue between Luffy and Don Krieg.

The fight were being watched by Nami so she can finally see that her captain is strong enough to beat Arlong.

Krieg uses everything in his armor's arsenal to try to kill Luffy. However, Luffy counters and powers though each weapon, finally finishing off Krieg by slamming him into the side of the Baratie with his legs (although Krieg won't stay down until a final punch in the gut by Gin stops him in his tracks).

However, Krieg's final attack with his iron net sends Luffy into the ocean. Sanji saves Luffy from the ocean, and Gin and the rest of Krieg's pirates sail away on a small dinghy.

After Luffy won, Zeff and his cooks try to persuade Sanji to leave by telling him a soup he cooked tasted awful. Sanji almost falls for it, but then overhears them when they actually say it tastes delicious. He remembers his dream of finding the All Blue and finally agrees to join Luffy's crew.

We said goodbye to The Baratie's crews and Zeff. While Sanji pretending to be cool when saying his goodbye but finally cries after seeing Zeff saying "take care kiddo" and needs to be dragged by Luffy to Going Merry.

(I didn't help much in the fight since I knew Luffy is strong enough to handle Don Krieg alone and also to show off to Nami so she can trust Luffy to beat Arlong later)

We then start sailing with Going Merry away from The Baratie.

When we all gather together in the kitchen along with Sanji as our new cook. I tap on Nami's shoulder to encourage her.

So finally Nami told us her secrets while crying and asking us to help her freeing her village from Arlong.

When Luffy and the rest of the crews heard her story, they all have an angry expressions plastered on their faces including mine.

We promised to help Nami freeing her village from Arlong since Nami is our family now. Luffy also promised to beat Arlong till his mother won't recognize his own face anymore.

After that we start sailing towards Conomi island with the determination to make sushi using Arlong's body as the ingredients.
