2 Chapter 2- Descendants of Devils

Jin took the little boy was taken to the hospital in no time. The best doctors of the best hospital were trying their best, but every time Jin asked the doctors, they would only reply with the same sentences on the loop.

"We are doing our best."

"The boy's immunity is deficient."

"He seemed to be already suffering from the severe cold before."

"Only Jesus can save him."

"We need to move him to a warmer room."

"Please be ready for the worst."

It was snowing outside, but Jin's temperature was rising. His brain was boiling in hot oil. He called several other well-known doctors.

From a neurosurgeon to an orthopedist, from an eye surgeon to an acupuncture doctor. All sorts of doctors were present in the hospital. One could say there are more doctors on the VIP floor than patients. It was crowded with doctors, but none could help the boy.

"Each of you are well-prominent doctors; how come none of you have a remedy to his condition?"

Jin yelled at them, losing his temper. He moved around like a crazy dog. He was plucking his perfectly styled hair out of frustration.

Out of curiosity about the noise, an older man looked at the scene he had never witnessed.

He took little calm and patient steps toward the young man in a white shirt despite the severe cold weather. In his feeble voice, he sat on the bench and asked, "What are you fretting about? Is your father dying?"

Jin screamed, "I wish he was!"

The older man nodded and kept silent, observing Jin's face turning red and banging his fist on the wall, adding more pain to his already injured hand. Then, finally, he asked again, "Is your girlfriend pregnant?"

Jin was disgusted with his question as a fright swallowed the faces of doctors who knew Jin well enough. Jin was too ferocious to answer; the older man was however very calm, unlike the others.

"Is your mother inside?" The older man questioned after a moment.

This time Jin's anger was really out of control, and he called out for the security in a loud voice and asked them to take the older man away.

However, none dared to touch the man, and his wrinkled face grinned as he continued to stay there. Then, finally, he whispered in the ears of the nurse who was attending the old man, and a moment later, she brought a file.

The older man went through it carefully and nodded at every page he turned. He looked interested in the documents more than he was in Jin's temper. Jin had gone to the washroom. He returned to find the older man unbothered by the doctors who had crowded the lobby with their useless presence. Jin returned with a drop of tear and looked at the doctors while wiping his hands.

"You all are dismissed. Stay here until my cousin wakes up." His demonic voice said.

He asked the nurse beside the old man, "Why is he still here?"

The nurse was too afraid to speak and stood there straight but trembling like a mountain in an earthquake. Finally, the old man pulled Jin's injured hand and made him sit beside him on the bench, and asked the nurse, "Treat this man first. God knows he might kill himself before his cousin can open his eyes."

The nurse nodded and left to bring the materials and medicine. Jin was amazed and asked the old man, "Who on earth are you?" His eyebrows furrowed and he looked at him puzzled. The older man himself was in a patient's attire.

"I went through your cousin's records. He is suffering from Hypothermia. No big deal! Okay? It's just that he is too young to survive it."

Jin was furious and stood up, "That I know for sure. So with whose permission are you flipping through crucial details of my cousin." He yelled at the older man and snatched the file.

"Okay, sorryyyyy!!!!! Don't get worked up. I then seek your permission. Allow me to take a look at your son." He asked in his fragile voice.

Jin shouted, "My cousin!!! And how can you...? You, Yourself, are a patient."

The nurse arrived with a ward boy and handed him the medicine and bandage to apply to Jin. Then, she gathered her courage to speak, "He is the chairman of this hospital and is a great doctor."

"He is not admitted to the hospital for any illness. But he finds it to be better in the hospital than to be at home alone."

Jin was taken aback and apologized to him instantly, "I am extremely sorry for I was not in my right mind and scolded you..." Then, Jin turned the tiger's roar into the cry of a wet cat.

The old man interrupted and said, "In my early years, I have met many rich spoiled men like you, but none of them were crazy enough to line up doctors of the various field for hypothermia."

"I don't see any contribution a cosmetic physician can make in your little cousin's health." The older man burst into breathy laughter as he was helped up by the nurse and went inside to visit the little boy.

Jin was dumbfounded and helplessly sat down on the bench, praying in his heart constantly. He didn't realize when the ward boy had applied for the medicine or wrapped his hand with a bandage. He was lost in praying and pleading with the omnipotent.

He saw junior doctors running into the room with tons of blankets and heaters. The old doctors rejected everything for their bad qualities and poor functioning. It was hard to see the hard time doctors and nurses were given by the older man, the hospital's chairman. The strange old chairman was trying to slowly warm the little boy and deliberately made the doctors run around for no reason.

He was enjoying the feeling of dominating the young talents who were skilled enough to treat the hypothermia of a boy but they all panicked. The doctors became anxious and nervous observing the condition of the little patient and his hysterical guardian. They all were just trying to come up with a plan to slip away to avoid any consequences rather than concentrating on how to save the little boy.

Jin was frustrated and wondered if his cousin was his Uncle's son. Sheng, nowhere to be found all this while, came back and stood before Qian Jin as he prepared himself before speaking.

"Sir, The model had made little master stand outside in the snow for some reason. So he was out there all evening in the garden. The servants brought him in when she left after having a great time with your Uncle. The doctor called by the butler was prescribing the medicine when Qian Ying pulled little master and ousted him with luggage which he had asked the servant to prepare beforehand."

Jin clenched his teeth as he heard everything from Sheng and asked in a croaky voice, "Who told you all this?"

Sheng replied, "The Doctor himself who was present there at the scene."

Jin yelled, "You!!!!!!! Qian Ying and Qian Ming are not human. I wonder if they were descendent of devils and not Qian family."
